Acting Pay. 42.01 Where for a period of a minimum of five (5) consecutive working days, an employee is required to perform the duties of a higher paid position than his or her regular position, he or she shall be paid as if he or she had been promoted to that position, effective from the first day he or she was required to perform the duties of the higher paid position.
