Common use of Act of God Clause in Contracts

Act of God. Should an Act of God prevent the Contractor from performing timely maintenance under the terms and conditions of this Contract, no additional time will be granted at the discretion of the Commissioner to make the repairs without assessment of damages provided that an extension of time is requested the following City working day.
