Common use of Act of God Clause in Contracts

Act of God. Neither party hereto shall be required to perform any covenant or obligation in the Lease, or be liable in damages to the other party, so long as the performance or non-performance of the covenant or obligation is delayed, caused, or prevented by an act of God or by force majeure and such performance of any covenant or obligation or liability for damages to the other party shall not be otherwise provided for by insurance or by other provisions of this Lease.
