Acquiring Seniority. An employee subject to this Agreement, who has completed his probationary period of ninety (90) calendar days as of the effective date of this Agreement, shall have his name entered upon the seniority list for his job classification as of his last date of hire. An employee subject to this Agreement who has not completed his probationary period as of the effective date of this Agreement shall be a probationary employee without seniority until such employee has been employed for a total of ninety (90) calendar days, at the end of which period such employee’s name shall be entered upon the seniority list for his job classification in his department as of his last date of hire. Employees who have not completed their probationary period as of the effective date of this Agreement shall be given credit for actual days worked since the employee’s last date of hire for the purpose of determining the employee’s probationary period.

Acquiring Seniority. All employees shall have a probationary period of one (1) year. An employee subject to this Agreement who has completed his probationary period shall have his name entered upon the seniority list for his job classification as of his last date of hire.
Acquiring Seniority. An employee shall not have any seniority and shall be considered as a probationary employee until he has completed three (3) continuous months of employment with the Company. During such probationary period he will have no seniority rights. The discharge of a probationary employee shall be in the sole discretion of the Company. Upon completion of the probationary period an employee’s seniority will be backdated to the date of hire.
Acquiring Seniority a. An employee shall be considered on probation until he/she has worked a total of sixty (60) days or four hundred and eighty (480) hours within a twelve (12) month period.
Acquiring Seniority. The employee's entry or re-entry date in the bus driver classification or substitute driver classification determines his/her respective seniority date in such classification. Employees will accumulate seniority in the classification and will continue to accrue seniority in the classification as long as they are employed in the occupation. Two (2) seniority lists shall be maintained, one for regular drivers and one for substitute drivers.
Acquiring Seniority. Newly hired employees shall not acquire seniority during their probation period as stated in Article 10(c). On successful completion of the probation period, employees shall be granted seniority effective their date of hire. Where this situation results in the same seniority date for two or more employees, total hours worked will then be used. The employee with the most hours worked in the probation period will be deemed the senior employee on that date of hire, with the remaining ranked according to their total hours worked. This will be identified on the seniority list. In the event the total hours worked does not break the tie, a coin toss or some other method satisfactory to the Union will determine the new seniority date for each remaining employee with the same seniority date. Employees who have the same seniority date and are on payroll as of January 1, 2011, will be able to use a coin toss to determine job selection.
Acquiring Seniority. When an employee acquires seniority, his/her name shall be placed on the seniority list for the bargaining unit in the order of his/her seniority. Any seniority date thus established for an employee is primarily for layoff and recall purposes and may or may not be identical to the employee's anniversary date or his/her date of continuous service dependent upon attendant circumstances.

Acquiring Seniority. All employees shall acquire seniority upon successful completion of the probationary period. Seniority shall be by classification and date from the most recent date of hire, except as modified below in Section 3 dealing with probation when promoted to a new classification. The Employer shall prepare a seniority list by classifications once each year listing all employees covered by this Agreement and shall furnish a copy to the Union.
