Common use of Accumulated Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Accumulated Sick Leave. (i) (1) Effective the first day of the calendar month following six (6) months of continuous employment, a Full‐Time Employee shall earn sick leave credits on the basis of one (1) day per calendar month. The maximum number of sick leave credits which may be earned in a calendar year is 12 days, and the maximum accumulation shall be eighty (80) days. Where Sick Leave credits are earned for less than a full calendar month, the monthly credit shall be prorated.
