Accumulated Sick Leave Benefit. At the end of each school year, teachers with more than 70 days accumulated temporary leave shall be paid $25.00 per each such day. Partial days will be calculated to the nearest half day. Pay for such half-days shall be $12.50. Payment for such days shall be made in June following the end of the school year. Wellness incentive will include the option for Certified Staff to trade accumulated sick days over 70, for a personal day. The criteria for such trade are: If a teacher has an accumulation of over 74 days at the end of a year, they may elect to take an additional personal day in lieu of payment (4 days’ equals one personal day). One additional personal day per year is the maximum allowed for this trade. All requests for the wellness incentive must be made by June 1st of the current year.
Accumulated Sick Leave Benefit. Should a driver terminate his/her employ- ment after five (5) years or more from his/her last date of hire as a regular driver, he/she will be eligible to draw pay for thirty (30) percent of unused sick days at regular rate of pay. After ten (10) years or more, he/she will be eligible to draw pay for forty (40) percent unused sick days at regular rate of pay. After fifteen (15) years or more, he/she will be eligible to draw pay for fifty (50) percent unused sick days at regular rate of pay. "Regular Rate of Pay" pertains to hourly wage and ntnnber of hours per day I at the time of termination.
Accumulated Sick Leave Benefit. When a unit member is eligible to retire under the New York State Retirement Plan and has ten (10) or more years as a Contract Driver with the District, the following benefit will be made available, once an irrevocable letter of resignation for retirement is received. Written notification of intention to retire must be provided to the District no later than January 31 of the school year preceding the year of retirement.   • Accumulated Sick Leave ‌ The Employer shall inform all employees at least once each year of the number of sick days accumulated and shall make the information available to an employee on request.

  • Sick Leave Accrual Full-time employees will accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave in a calendar month. Part- time employees will accrue sick leave credit on the same proportional basis that their employment schedule bears to a full-time schedule, up to a maximum of eight (8) hours in a calendar month.
