Accountable Body. 3.1 The Accountable Body shall claim Government Funding for the Swansea Bay City Deal by any date specified by the Welsh Government or the UK Government.
Accountable Body. 3.1. CWAC agrees to act as the accountable body for the Partnership for the purposes of any grant funding from ACE, financial contributions payable by the Partners and other income received or generated as a result of grant funded activities.

Lead delivery body – a lead partner or body who will procure services and activities commissioned by Thematic Partnerships. Pooled Funding – Funding previously paid as separate allocations but now rolled up into a total allocation for each block with a single set of grant conditions and local discretion on how funds are allocated. Government pays pooled funds to the Accountable Body. Pump Priming Grant - Additional funding from government to be used towards achieving stretch targets. Xxxxxx Xxxxx – Xxxxx payable following the 3 years of the LAA agreement , subject to achievement of stretch targets. Ring-fencing of funds – Funds that can be used only for a particular purpose. Single-Pot – Where LAA pooled funding is no longer divided into ring-fenced allocations for each block. Strategic Commissioning – activity that is designed to secure the delivery of priority outcomes, based on an analysis of evidence, and coupled with effective and transparent allocation of resources to procure action.
Accountable Body. 7.1 The 4UAs agree to South Gloucestershire Council being the Accountable Body (AB) with the responsibilities set out in this Clause 7 and further agree to delegate all necessary powers to the AB to operate the Pool on behalf of the 4UAs.

Accountable Body. 4.3. The Local Enterprise Partnership is responsible for the allocation of public sector funding identified by the Government from time to time as being within its remit. The allocation of this funding must be undertaken in accordance with statute and the principles of democratic and financial accountability.
