If a member has been required to obtain a temporary certificate to meet the requirements of the current teaching assignment and also holds a provisional or higher certification/licensure in other teaching fields, that member shall be placed the certification/licensure areas of his/her non-temporary certification/licensure and shall have displacement rights.
Accomplished. This performance category represents achievement which is consistently and significantly beyond what is normally expected of an employee in the position. This rating is selected when an employee’s performance results, and the way they are achieved, far exceed, in terms of quality and quantity. Examples might be: work is always completed ahead of schedule; impact upon the school is extra- ordinary in terms of amount and quality of work accomplished; consistently identifies the need of the organization and devises new concepts and innovative solutions to significant problems.

The teacher effectiveness rating shall be derived from a summative evaluation where fifty (50) percent of the overall evaluation is based on student growth measures as provided for in this agreement and fifty (50) percent of the overall evaluation is based on a teacher's performance rating as provided for in this agreement. The fifty (50) percent teacher performance rating is aligned with the Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession and the framework for evaluation of teachers developed by the State Board of Education.
Accomplished. To allow for adequate data accumulation, bargaining unit members shall be “comparable” to each other until the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year. The evaluation ratings specified on this section refer to the final summative ratings assigned to a teacher. If the employee does not possess a final summative rating for the year in which the reduction in force will occur the employee’s last rating will be utilized for the purposes of considering whether employees are “comparable”. In the event that a teacher new to the district does not have any prior rating, the teacher shall be assigned a rating based upon the most recent evidence available. For the purposes of reduction in force, all non-OTES personnel within the same licensure/certification area shall be considered to possess “comparable evaluations.”
