Accessible Route. There is a 2 1/2 inch change in level at the entrance door. Modify the accessible route to the entrance so that there is no level change greater than 1/2 inch with the edge beveled at no more than 1:2. Standards §§ 4.3.8, 4.5.2.
Accessible Route a. The route from the parking to the playground equipment is inaccessible because the surface is comprised of loose gravel. Provide at least one accessible route within the boundary of the site connecting these elements that, to the maximum extent feasible, coincides with the route for the general public. The accessible route must have a minimum clear width of 36 inches, or a minimum clear width of 42 inches if there is a turn around an obstruction less than 48 inches wide; have passing spaces at least 60 inches by 60 inches at least every 200 feet; have a minimum clear headroom of 80 inches; have a surface that is firm, stable, and slip resistant. Accessible Route. The interior of the First Street Market shall provide an accessible route throughout the building. See 2010 Standards 206.4.5, 402, 404, Chapter 4. McQueen will modify Ramp No. 5 (as identified in the attached Exhibit A) to comply with the 2010 Standards and will reconstruct the ramp to provide a maximum slope of 1:12 and provide a handrail with the top of the gripping surface 34 inches minimum to 38 inches maximum above the walking surface on the west side of the ramp. See 2010 Standards 402, 405, 505. McQueen will modify Ramp No. 6 (as identified in the attached Exhibit A) to comply with the 2010 Standards and will reconstruct the ramp to provide for a maximum slope of 1:12 with 60” by 60” level landings at the top and bottom of the ramp. See 2010 Standards 402, 405. McQueen will provide beveled thresholds with a slope not steeper than 1:2 at the entrance doors to suites 201, 202, 203, 205, 206 and 208 to comply with 2010 Standards 404.2.5, 303.
Accessible Route. There is a change in level on the accessible route where the parking lot meets the concrete sidewalk. Provide an accessible route so that the change is no greater than ½ inch and is beveled with a slope no greater than 1:2. Standards §§ 4.1.2(1), 4.1.6(2), 4.3.8, 4.5.2.
Accessible Route. The District will report to OCR when its contract with Morning Star Elevator LLC, dated February 10, 2023 (Contract), is complete and the chair lift that provides an internal accessible route to the gym at the School is installed. To the extent that the Contract is breached or dissolved, the District will reserve the allocated the money it set aside and continue to seek a vendor to replace the chair lift to the School’s gym or otherwise create an internal accessible route to the gym. The District will continue to ensure that the external accessible route to the gym is available for use until the internal accessible route is available for use.

Provide a curb ramp that is at least 36 inches wide, has a maximum slope of 1:12, is located so that it cannot be obstructed by parked vehicles, and has a stable, firm, and slip-resistant surface with a detectable warning extending the full width and depth of the ramp. If the curb ramp is located where pedestrians must walk across it, provide either flared sides (with a maximum slope of 1:10) or handrails or guardrails to protect against cross traffic. Provide a curb ramp that is at least 36 inches wide, has a maximum slope of 1:12, is located so that it cannot be obstructed by parked vehicles, and has a stable, firm, and slip-resistant surface with a detectable warning extending the full width and depth of the ramp. If the curb ramp is located where pedestrians must walk across it, provide either flared sides (with a maximum slope of 1:10) or handrails or guardrails to protect against cross traffic.
