Academic Program Directors. For the purposes of this section of the contract, a program must be approved by the Board of Regents and must meet all of the following criteria:

Academic Program Directors. The Xxxxxxx or xxxx will determine the appropriate stipend and/or release time in accordance with the responsibilities of each position. A stipend shall be at least $1000 in each quarter, including summer session, for which there are program responsibilities. In no case will the compensation given to program directors for the current level of responsibilities decrease.
Academic Program Directors. The Academic Program Director (APD) position at Truckee Xxxxxxx Community College exists as an academic faculty leadership position and as such has both academic and administrative roles. APDs will be members of the bargaining unit. APDs may on a “B+” or an “A” contract. The APD teaches students, provides leadership for the development and support of academic programs, maintains compliance and documentation of programmatic accreditation requirements, manages program budgets, supervises support staff, facilitates faculty calibration, and reports directly to the appropriate Xxxx. The APD promotes faculty excellence by encouraging professional development and advancing program goals. Faculty members serving as APDs shall maintain all rights and privileges of the faculty.
Academic Program Directors. A faculty member who has been recommended by program faculty and formally assigned the responsibilities of an academic program director by the Chief Academic Officer or xxxx shall be appointed to serve for a fixed term. The appointment, term of appointment, and its specific responsibilities as well as any release time and compensation must be documented in writing.
Academic Program Directors. Academic Program Directors will be reviewed annually by the Xxxx. Faculty will participate in the evaluation of Academic Program Directors at least every two (2) years. The Academic Program Director will be reviewed based on the performance of duties and responsibilities outlined in the college P & P and their letter of appointment and/or their FAP, if updated to include the directorship duties. The results of the review will be shared with the Academic Program Director. Based on the evaluation of performance, a plan may be developed jointly by the Xxxx and the Academic Program Director for improvement or the Academic Program Director may be removed by the Xxxx. The program faculty by a two-thirds (2/3) majority recall vote may initiate a request to the Xxxx to remove the Academic Program Director at the end of any academic term. The Xxxx shall conduct the vote in the program. The Academic Program Director may resign at any time. If, during the term of appointment, the Academic Program Director fails to fulfill the responsibilities described in the College or Department P & P, their appointment letter, or FAP (wherever these duties are articulated), the Chief Academic Officer or Xxxx may remove the Academic Program Director.
Academic Program Directors. Academic Program Directors includes former Health Sciences Program Leaders, but does not include Graduate Program Directors, Directors of the GEP, Honors Program, etc.

Related to Academic Program Directors

  • Academic Program The Charter School shall operate the academic program in accordance with this Agreement, the Charter School’s Application, and applicable state and federal law, including providing at least the same equivalent time of instruction as other public schools and complying with assessment and accountability laws and rules (T.C.A. § 49-13-111). If the Charter School is performing below standards, the Authorizer may review the academic program. The Charter School will notify the Authorizer of any material changes to the academic program that are a change from the Charter School’s Application, and the Authorizer will evaluate to determine if they are material changes to this Agreement. Any changes to the school structure shall be considered material to this Agreement and shall not be permitted unless a formal amendment to this Agreement is secured in advance according to the provisions outlined in T.C.A. § 49-13-110(d), Commission Rule 1185-01-01-.04, and this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, school structure shall be defined as the academic focus or goals of the Charter School and grade levels served.

  • Program Director The primary contact for managing Match activities for a designated program.

  • Professional Development Committee There shall be a Professional Development Committee composed of at least two (2) representatives of the Association and an equal number of representatives from the Hospital. Each party may have alternates to replace a member from time to time.

  • Curriculum Committee The Curriculum Committee shall consist of sixteen (16) members of the bargaining unit, three (3) students, and three (3) administrators; provided, however, that in the case of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, the Curriculum Committee shall be composed of ten (10) members of the bargaining unit, two (2) students, and two (2) administrators.

  • Local Professional Development Committee 1. The Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC) shall be established to oversee and review professional development plans pursuant to ORC 3319.22.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Joint Committees 1101 Release Time

  • Joint Steering Committee [***] following the Effective Date [***], a joint steering committee (the “JSC”) will be established by the Parties to provide oversight and to facilitate information sharing between the Parties with respect to the activities under this Agreement.

  • Teams One team for the purposes of the Event shall consist of one Vehicle. Each Vehicle can contain a maximum of three Team Members, provided such Team Members have entered into a Team Entry Agreement with the Company or have otherwise agreed in writing to participate in the Event upon and subject to the Terms of Entry and the Event Rules. For the avoidance of doubt, it is the sole responsibility of each Team to inform themselves of the maximum numbers of persons legally permitted to travel in the Vehicle under Relevant Law. Vehicles: Rickshaws The Company shall provide each Team with the contact details of the Approved Hirer who will be able to provide each Team with a Vehicle for use in the Event, subject to the Team entering into an agreement (the “Borrowing Agreementâ€) with the Hirer outlining the terms of use of the Vehicle. Should the Vehicle not be delivered to the Designated Finish Point up to 3 days after the date of the official Finish Line Party, then the team will be liable for either the cost to retrieve the Vehicle and/or the "Hire Costs" beyond this date. Each Vehicle will be of a similar specification to that outlined in Schedule 4 to the Team Entry Agreement. For the avoidance of doubt, the Company shall make no representations or warranties as to the suitability of the Approved Hirer or of the Vehicle for participation in the Event and any rights or warranties which a Team may have or be granted in relation to the Vehicle shall be limited to those contained in the Rental Agreement or implied by any Relevant Law.

  • Supervision of Student Teachers Paragraph 1: Supervision of a student teacher shall be voluntary. Teachers shall normally be notified of a student teacher assigned at least two (2) weeks prior to the student teacher’s introduction to the classroom. The school system shall provide the cooperating teacher with whatever materials it deems appropriate. The cooperating teacher shall be responsible for being knowledgeable of the contents of any such materials provided.
