Academic Employees. Academic employees now excluded from annual leave entitlement shall be granted personal days per annum according to the schedule below to be deducted from sick leave, such days to be noncumulative and shall not count against bonus leave accumulation. Such personal leave shall be taken in accordance with section 10.3.

Academic Employees. 1. Where the initial academic review committee has recommended that the employee not be granted continuing appointment, the College President shall indicate that the notice of nonrenewal was provided in conformity with the recommendation of such committee and the employee shall receive no further consideration of the non-renewal of the term appointment.
Academic Employees. 68.1.1 These provisions apply to academic employees holding continuing appointments and do not apply to fixed-term, probationary or casual academic employees.
Academic Employees. Ten (10) month employees assigned as professional support to academic areas shall work the academic year which shall consist of two semesters, spring and fall. The maximum number of work days will not exceed seventy-eight (78) days per semester, and up to an additional thirty (30) days to be arranged with the appropriate department chairperson and may include days immediately preceding and/or immediately following each semester, January inter-session and June pre-session. Days will be arranged, annually, with the appropriate department head prior to June 1 or in the case of new employees, at the time of hire. Unit members shall be available for meetings and other administrative or planning duties during each semester and/or on days immediately preceding the first day of classes for each semester. All such days shall be developed with the academic calendar and will not exceed eight (8) days per academic year, and not more than five (5) per semester.
Academic Employees. 8.2.1 The University may require an Academic Employee to serve a period of probation that is reasonable having regard to the nature and circumstances of the employment, the skill level of the position, and the employee’s qualifications and experience. Subject to Clause 8.2.3(b) a probation period for an ongoing employee will not exceed 3 years.

  • Shift Employees Employees who work rotating shift patterns or those who work qualifying shifts shall be entitled, on completion of 12 months employment on shift work, to up to an additional 5 days annual leave, based on the number of qualifying shifts worked.   • DNR Employees An employee of the Department of Natural Resources may meet the basic eligibility requirement for participation in the Group Insurance Program based on a combination of seasonal and temporary project employment.   • Other Employees Except as may be required in the performance of Employee’s duties hereunder, Employee shall not cause or induce, or attempt to cause or induce, any person now or hereafter employed by the Company or any of its affiliates to terminate such employment. This obligation shall remain in effect while Employee is employed by the Company and for a period of one (1) year thereafter.

  • Former Employees All Employees terminating service with the Employer during the Plan Year and who have satisfied the eligibility requirements based on the terms of the Employer's accumulated benefits plans checked below (select all that apply; leave blank if no exclusions):

  • Intermittent Employees On the first day of the monthly pay period following completion of each period of 160 hours or 20 days of paid employment, each intermittent employee in the State civil service shall be allowed one (1) day of credit for sick leave with pay. The hours or days worked in excess of 160 hours or 20 days in a monthly pay period shall not be counted or accumulated.

  • Student Employees A student employee is an employee who is hired for short-term work which is not ongoing. He/she is normally in the process of completing his/her post-graduate studies and is expected to return to his/her studies after an agreed employment period. The employee's benefits and working conditions are as per Article 34 (Temporary Employees).
