Academic Assistance. It is expected that teachers shall recognize their responsibilities to provide extra help for students needing academic assistance and that the adequate provision of such extra help may require a teacher's remaining at school beyond the termination of regular working hours.
Academic Assistance. Except for student staff who are specifically employed by the Student Athlete Support Services Office, student staff are prohibited from providing any academic assistance of any kind to any student-athlete. This shall include, but not be limited to, assistance with written assignments, assistance with homework, preparation for or completion of quizzes for a student-athlete, preparation for or completion of exams for a student-athlete, any other kind of academic assistance. Academic Assistance. ASSETs programs will include tutoring, homework assistance, Credit Recovery, and CAHSEE Prep in their academic assistance element. The assistance will be aligned with the regular academic programs of the students and will assist them in meeting state and local academic achievement standards in core academic subjects, such as reading, mathematics, and science.
Academic Assistance. The Program agrees to provide, either in conjunction with the PCMSAP Scholar's local school, community agencies or otherwise, assistance to the PCMSAP Scholar with his/her academic activities. The PCMSAP Scholar agrees to attend and actively participate and the Parent further agrees to assist the PCMSAP Scholar in attending all the required monthly high school meetings and receive academic enrichment and assistance on a regular (at least monthly) basis.
