Absent from Duty. 42 Employees who are absent from duty for reasons other than those provided for in this Agreement, 43 Article IX, will be suspended without pay for three (3) days for first violation and subject to 44 termination for second violation within any three (3) year period of time. Such discipline includes, 45 but is not limited to, violation or misuse of any leave provision included within this Agreement.

Absent from Duty. 25.1 Where a staff member is absent from duty without proper approval, all pay and other benefits under this Agreement will cease to be available until they resume duty or leave is granted. The granting of leave may be made at any time.
Absent from Duty. (a) If you are absent from work without authorisation by ANZ, ANZ may make equivalent deductions from your pay for the period of your absence.

  • ABSENCE FROM DUTY Unless a provision of this agreement states otherwise (e.g. sick leave), an employee not attending for duty will lose their pay for the actual time of such non- attendance.

  • Release from Duty When the best interest of the County requires the immediate removal of the employee from his/her position, any employee may be released from regularly assigned duties with pay and benefits by the Department Head for a period not to exceed eighty (80) working hours upon the approval of the Personnel Director. Upon showing of good cause by the appointing authority, such release from duty may be extended up to an additional eighty (80) work hours by the Personnel Director.

On return from leave, an employee shall be placed in her former position or where the position no longer exists in a position of equal rank and basic pay.

  • Recall from Layoff Full-time and regular part-time nurses shall be recalled in the order of seniority unless otherwise agreed between the Hospital and the local Union, subject to the following provisions, provided that a nurse recalled is qualified to perform the available work:

  • RECALL FROM LAY-OFF Laid off employees shall be recalled in order of seniority provided they possess the requisite qualifications, skill and ability to perform the work available.
