Absence from the Home. 3.10.1 If you go on holiday or undertake a short term absence from the home, including a stay in hospital, you need to inform the Home Manager of your intended dates. Your room will be kept available and fully serviced for your return. During the first two full weeks of absence your fees will continue to be payable in full. After that, your fees will be reduced by 20%.

Absence from the Home. 3.9.1 If you require a stay in hospital during a period of booked respite care the Organisation will ensure that your room is ready for your return. Should your hospital stay extend beyond the agreed end date of your stay at the Home, the agreement will cease from the agreed end date.

  • ABSENCE FROM WORK AND REPORTING 17.01 If an employee is unable to report for work, he/she shall give the Employer a minimum of four (4) hours notice. In case of day shift work, this time element shall be one (1) hour. If notice is not given within the required time, the employee shall not be entitled to his/her sick pay on the first day of illness.

  • Approved Leave of Absence With Pay During Vacation When an employee is qualified for bereavement leave, sick leave or any other approved leave with pay during her vacation period, there shall be no deduction from the vacation credits for such leave. In the case of sick leave, this section shall only apply when the period of illness or injury is in excess of two (2) days and a note from a physician may be required. The period of vacation so displaced shall be taken at a mutually agreed time. An employee intending to claim displaced vacation leave must advise the Employer and provide necessary documentation within seven (7) days of returning to work.

  • Release from Contract An employee under contract shall be released from the obligations of the contract upon request under the following conditions:

  • Reinstatement from Leave Upon completion of a leave of absence, the employee is to be returned to the position formerly occupied, or to a similar position if the employee's former position no longer exists. Any replacement in the position while an employee is on leave is to be on a temporary basis.

  • RECALL FROM LAY-OFF Laid off employees shall be recalled in order of seniority provided they possess the requisite qualifications, skill and ability to perform the work available.
