Absence for Jury Duty a. Absence for jury duty shall not count in calculating absence limitations under other sections. The salary paid by the Xxxxxx City School District under such absence shall be at the regular rate.
Absence for Jury Duty. Any employee summoned to jury duty shall be paid his/her full salary for each working day of absence, provided that the employee pays the Board the jury fee less mileage expense.

In order to receive pay for such leave of absence, the employee, upon the employee’s receipt of payment for jury duty service, shall remit to the City Treasurer’s office the daily payment received for the days that the city paid the employee. The city will not request for payment of jury pay on the days the employee was not scheduled to work. Travel expenses included in such compensation shall be returned to the employee. On a day that an employee attends jury duty, they will not be expected to work any shift or any part there-of and will receive payment as stated above.

Absence for Jury Duty. 1. Secretaries will be granted time off to serve on Jury Duty without being penalized. They will receive full pay and time spent on Jury Duty will not be charged against personal leave and will count as time on the job. An employee called for Jury Duty shall report same to the Superintendent and while on Jury Duty, will report their schedule for the following days.
