A registered nurse is defined as. a person who is registered by the College of Nurses of Ontario, in accordance with the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 and the Nursing Act, 1991 as amended. Provided a nurse has followed reasonable policies or procedures issued by the Employer to protect the Employer’s entitlement to investigate and address any allegation of wrongdoing, nurses will not be subject to discipline or reprisal for the reasonable exercise of their professional obligations.
