A Casual Employee. (a) is an Employee who:
A Casual Employee a) can elect to accept or reject the offer to work at the time the work is offered.
A Casual Employee. 1. Is one who is engaged and paid on an hourly basis, one thirty-eighth (1/38th) of the appropriate rate in accordance with 13 MONETARY RATES, Table 2 – Wage Rates, a 10% casual leave loading and whose services may be terminated without notice.
A Casual Employee except casual Teachers employed in a Pre-School or Kindergarten, will be paid per hour calculated at the rate of 1/38th of the weekly rate appropriate to the Employee's classification. In addition to their base hourly rate, a loading of 25% of that rate will be paid instead of the paid leave entitlements applicable to full-time and part-time Employees.
A Casual Employee shall be paid a minimum of three hours for each start and the fares applicable in clause 25.1.1 of this Agreement . - where directed to report for work on a Saturday or Sunday and not being required shall be paid for two (2) hours at overtime rates and the fares applicable in clause 25.1.1 of this Agreement.
A Casual Employee. (i) is a person engaged on a daily basis in relieving work or work of an irregular or intermittent nature or of a short term duration but does not include an Employee who could properly be classified as permanent or fixed term;
A Casual Employee. (i) must be paid an hourly rate of 1/38th of the weekly ordinary time rate of pay for the classification in which they are employed in, plus a casual loading of 25%; and
A Casual Employee is an employee engaged to work either; • for less than an average of fifteen hours per week, or • for less than one month - if employed for fifteen hours or more each week, or • where the employee’s ordinary hours vary from week, to week irrespective of the span of hours or the period of engagement, or • as a replacement employee for a period not exceeding three months.
