021 Inclusions. The bargaining unit shall include all full-time certified/licensed, part-time certified/licensed, regular full-time classified and regular part-time classified personnel as hereinafter defined. Teachers shall be defined as in ORC Section 3319.09, including guidance counselors, federally funded program teachers, school nurses, and tutors. Part-time teachers shall be defined as teaching less than thirty- three (33) hours per week. A teacher will be deemed to be employed on a full-time basis if the teacher is utilized by the Board on a schedule of fifty percent (50%) or more of the regular teaching schedule. The unit includes all personnel assigned to newly created certified/licensed classroom teaching positions.

The bargaining unit shall include all regular employees who have completed their probationary period, i.e. custodians, maintenance personnel, bus drivers, cafeteria employees, library secretaries, sign language interpreters for the deaf who work 20 or more hours per week. Also, any employee(s) working in the same bargaining unit position for 60 consecutive days or more becomes eligible for inclusion into the bargaining unit on the 61st day of employment in the same position. The 60 days shall commence from the date of the effected employee's most recent date of hire.
