Background Checks. The State may require that the Contractor and Contractor Parties undergo criminal background checks as provided for in the State of Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection Administration and Operations Manual or such other State document as governs procedures for background checks. The Contractor and Contractor Parties shall cooperate fully as necessary or reasonably requested with the State and its agents in connection with such background checks.

Background Checks. The Authorized User Agreement may require the Contractor to conduct background checks on certain Contractor staff at no charge to the Authorized User.
Background Checks. Contractor will conduct, at Contractor’s expense, a criminal information records background check, (hereinafter referred to as “background check”), through the Wisconsin Department of Justice and other appropriate states’ agencies, on all current and potential administrators, board members, officers, and employees who have, or who are anticipated to have, “direct, unsupervised contact” with MPS students in the performance of this Contract. An out of state background check should be completed in the state(s) in which the individual resided for at least six months within the last two years and was eighteen years or older at the time. Contractor will submit to MPS’s Department of Employment Relations (DER), (via mail to Milwaukee Public Schools Background Checks, Attn: Department of Employment Relations, Room 116, 0000 Xxxx Xxxxx Xxxxxx, Xxxxxxxxx, XX 00000, or via email at 000@xxxxxxxxx.x00.xx.xx), all completed background checks. Such records will be reviewed and MPS will notify Contractor of any individual(s) who, based on MPS standards, are unfit and should not have contact with MPS students. All determinations made by MPS with regards to whether an individual is fit to provide services pursuant to this Contract are made in MPS’s sole discretion. The following will each be a material failure to comply with the terms of this Contract and cause for immediate termination of this Contract by MPS: failure to perform background checks as outlined in this Section 7; failure to submit background checks to MPS as outlined in this Section 7; allowing services to be provided by an individual who has not be subjected to a background check; and allowing services to be performed by an individual who has been determined to be unfit by MPS as outlined in this Section 7.
Background Checks. The Contractor and Contractor Parties shall submit to and incur the cost of fingerprint supported federal and state criminal history background checks as may be required by the State, the State of Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, or as provided for in any State document that governs procedures for background checks. The Contractor and Contractor Parties shall cooperate fully as necessary or reasonably requested with the State and its agents in connection with such background checks.
Background Checks. Cooperative customers may request background checks on any awarded contractor’s employees who will have direct contact with students, or for any other reason they so choose, any may require contractor to pay the cost of obtaining any background information requested by the Customer.
Background Checks. Contractor shall cooperate with the JBE if the JBE wishes to perform any background checks on Contractor’s personnel by obtaining, at no additional cost, all releases, waivers, and permissions the JBE may require. Contractor shall not assign personnel who refuse to undergo a background check. Contractor shall provide prompt notice to the JBE of (i) any person who refuses to undergo a background check, and (ii) the results of any background check requested by the JBE and performed by Contractor. Contractor shall ensure that the following persons are not assigned to perform services for the JBE: (a) any person refusing to undergo such background checks, and (b) any person whose background check results are unacceptable to Contractor or that, after disclosure to the JBE, the JBE advises are unacceptable to the JBE.
Background Checks. By executing this Contract with the Client, the NWESD represents and warrants that each of its employees or agents shall have a record check through the Washington state patrol criminal identification system in compliance with RCW 43.43.830 through 43.43.834, 10.97.030, and 10.97.050 and through the Federal Bureau of Investigation before she, he, or they has unsupervised access to any child. The record check shall include a fingerprint check using a complete Washington state criminal identification fingerprint card.

Background Checks. If the Contractor assigns persons (whether employees, independent contractors, subcontractors or agents) to perform work under this Agreement that requires that the person have access to the systems (whether on-site or by remote access) or premises of the AOC or other Judicial Branch entities, the AOC shall have the right, but not the obligation, to conduct a background check or to require the Contractor to conduct a background check, as permitted by law, on all such persons before the AOC will grant to such persons access to the AOC’s or other judicial branch entities’ premises or systems. The Contractor will cooperate with the AOC in performing such background check, and will promptly notify the AOC of any such person refusing to undergo such background check, and will reassign such person to perform other services. The Contractor shall obtain all releases, waivers, or permissions required for the release of such information to the AOC. Costs incident to background checks are the sole responsibility of the Contractor.
Background Checks. Contractor hereby agrees that it is aware of the provisions of Tennessee Code Annotated §49-5-413 requiring the background check of any employee or subcontractor that works on school grounds at any time when students are present, and prohibiting any person with a history of the criminal offenses cited in the statute from working on a school campus during such times. The Contractor hereby certifies that it has, and will, at all times during the performance of the Work, comply with the provisions of this statute and will provide to Owner, upon request, proof of its compliance with this provision. A default by the Contractor of the provisions of this Section 20 shall be automatic grounds for termination of this Agreement pursuant to Section 15.
Background Checks. The Charter School shall adopt background check procedures and shall ensure that all prospective staff members or any individual that will have substantial contact with students undergo a fingerprinting and background check prior to beginning work at the Charter School or having contact with students.
