Employment grievances should be directed to the Residence Director, Assistant Director of Apartment Life and the Associate Director of Apartment and Residence Life.  If a Resident Assistant is released from staff or voluntarily resigns his or her position, the following will occur: o If released from staff, the Resident Assistant will cease serving as a staff member immediately; therefore all pay will cease effective the last day of employment. o The Resident Assistant will be required to vacate the RA apartment within 3 days of last day of employment and is required to submit an Occupant Termination Notice immediately to the Housing Office. All rent will cease the day s/he moves out and checks out formally with the Residence Director.  If the Resident Assistant is moving to another University Housing location, s/he is required to Complete a new Apartment Lease or Residence Hall Contract. The deposit will be transferred to the new lease/contract and rent shall be adjusted accordingly. The 60 day notice requirement will be waived in this instance.  If the Resident Assistant is required or chooses to move out of University Housing, the RA will forfeit their deposit, pay any penalties as outlined in the terms of conditions of their lease (including early termination and reletting fees).  As a student employee, employment is not guaranteed by the University.
