Section 12.6. 46 All employees subject to this Agreement shall be entitled to participate in a District approved tax shelter 47 annuity plan. On receipt of a written authorization by an employee, the District shall make the requisite 48 withholding adjustments and deductions from the employee’s salary. 5 Section 13.1.
Section 12.6. 6.03 (a) Notwithstanding the grievance and arbitration provisions in a collective agreement or deemed to be included in a collective agreement under section 45, a party to a collective agreement between an employer or employers' organization and a trade union or council of trade unions may refer a grievance concerning the interpretation, application, administration or alleged violation of the agreement, including any question as to whether a matter is arbitrable, to the Board for final and binding determination.

Section 12.6. If a store is sold and the successor Employer offers employment to an employee who is otherwise eligible for severance pay under the terms of this Article and the new job is comparable, then no provisions of this Article shall apply.
Section 12.6. 23 The parties agree to meet in labor management to revise the insurance benefits section of this 24 agreement to bring the contract into compliance with a legislative mandate, if any regarding coverage 25 under the School Employee Benefits Board. 29 A R T I C L E X I I I 31 VOCATIONAL TRAINING 32 33 Section 13.1. 34 In the mutual interests of the District and the Association, there may be established a budget which 35 may be used by employees subject to this Agreement for vocational improvement. 37 Section 13.2. 38 Such funds may be utilized for the following purposes without limitation: 39

Section 12.6. 2 The employer agrees to offer eligible employees optional cancer insurance. 6 ARTICLE XIII 7 8 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Section 12.6. 3 In determining whether an employee subject to this Agreement is eligible for participation in the 4 Washington State Public Employees’ Retirement System, the District shall consider all hours worked, 5 whether straight time, overtime, or otherwise.
Section 12.6. While on a leave of absence without pay, the employee shall have the option to remain an 12 active participant in fringe benefit programs by paying the required amount without District contribution.
