Individual Rights. Nothing contained herein shall be construed as limiting the right of any employee having a complaint to discuss the matter through administrative channels and to have the problem adjusted without the intervention of the Association, as long as the Association is notified in writing of the disposition of the matter and such disposition is not inconsistent with the terms of this Agreement.

Individual Rights. Neither the County nor Association shall interfere with, intimidate, restrain, coerce, or discriminate against employees because of the exercise of their right to engage in or refrain from Unit activity pursuant to Section 3500 et seq. of the California Government Code.

Individual Rights. L5.1 Both the Board and Bargaining Unit shall comply with the Ontario Human Rights Code. Any alleged violation shall be dealt with pursuant to the procedures in the Code.

Nothing herein contained will be construed as limiting the right of any teacher having a grievance to discuss the matter informally with the appropriate member of the administration at Level One (defined below), and having the grievance adjusted at Level One without intervention by the Association, provided that adjustment is not inconsistent with the terms of this contract.
Individual Rights. 1. Employees shall be entitled to full rights of citizenship. There shall be no discipline or discrimination with respect to the employment of an employee due to race, creed, color, marital status, sex, age, national origin, veteran status, political activity or lack thereof, or the presence of any sensory mental or physical disability unless based upon a bona fide occupational qualification provided that the prohibition against discrimination because of such disability shall not apply if the particular disability prevents the proper performance of the particular worker involved.
Individual Rights. Nothing in the foregoing shall be construed in any way as limiting the rights of any employee to discuss any matter informally with the Board of Trustees, the Superintendent or any other District employee/representative when and where such discussions do not interfere with his/her work or the work of school district employees.
