Examples of Deemed Investment in a sentence
If a Participant fails to elect a Deemed Investment Option, the Deemed Investment shall be based on an investment alternative selected for this purpose by the Plan Administrator.
If a Deemed Investment Option selected by the Participant sustains a loss, the Participant’s Account(s) shall be reduced to reflect such loss.
The Participant’s Account(s) as of each Valuation Date shall consist of the balance of the Participant’s Account(s) as of the immediately preceding Valuation Date, plus the Participant’s Deferral Amounts, Discretionary Contributions, and Matching Contributions, if any, that have been credited, plus Deemed Investment gains or losses, minus the amount of any distributions made and any applicable tax withheld since the immediately preceding Valuation Date.
During payout, the Participant’s Account(s) shall continue to be credited with Deemed Investment gains or losses based on the Deemed Investment Options selected by the Participant and made available by the Plan Administrator for such purpose.
A Participant shall have the right to direct the Plan Administrator as to how the Participant’s Deferral Amounts, Discretionary Contributions, and Matching Contributions shall be deemed to be invested among the Deemed Investment Options offered under the Plan, subject to any operating rules and procedures imposed by the Plan Administrator.
