Deemed Investment definition

Deemed Investment means the notional conversion of the balance held in a Participant’s Account(s) into shares or units of the Deemed Investment Options that are used as measuring devices for determining the value of a Participant’s Account(s).
Deemed Investment means the investment vehicles described in Section 3.4.

Examples of Deemed Investment in a sentence

  • If a Participant fails to elect a Deemed Investment Option, the Deemed Investment shall be based on an investment alternative selected for this purpose by the Plan Administrator.

  • If a Deemed Investment Option selected by the Participant sustains a loss, the Participant’s Account(s) shall be reduced to reflect such loss.

  • The Participant’s Account(s) as of each Valuation Date shall consist of the balance of the Participant’s Account(s) as of the immediately preceding Valuation Date, plus the Participant’s Deferral Amounts, Discretionary Contributions, and Matching Contributions, if any, that have been credited, plus Deemed Investment gains or losses, minus the amount of any distributions made and any applicable tax withheld since the immediately preceding Valuation Date.
