Immediate Family. Immediate family includes husband, wife, child, stepchild, brother, brother-in-law, stepbrother, sister, sister-in-law, stepsister, grandmother, grandfather, grandchild, parent, stepparent, mother-in-law, father-in-law, or any person serving as a parent, or who has served as a parent, or any other close person living in the same household as the employee.

Immediate Family includes the Nurse’s spouse (common law); child (step child); parent (step parent); sibling (step-sibling); grandchild (step-grandchild); grandparent; father- in-law, mother-in-law; son-in-law, daughter-in-law, legal guardian, the legal xxxx of the Nurse. The “in law”, legal and “step-relative” relationships referred to in this provision will only be considered “Immediate Family” in cases where it is a current relationship at the time the benefit is claimed.
