Immediate Family. Immediate family includes husband, wife, child, stepchild, brother, brother-in-law, stepbrother, sister, sister-in-law, stepsister, grandmother, grandfather, grandchild, parent, stepparent, mother-in-law, father-in-law, or any person serving as a parent, or who has served as a parent, or any other close person living in the same household as the employee.
Immediate Family includes the Nurse’s spouse (common law); child (step child); parent (step parent); sibling (step-sibling); grandchild (step-grandchild); grandparent; father- in-law, mother-in-law; son-in-law, daughter-in-law, legal guardian, the legal xxxx of the Nurse. The “in law”, legal and “step-relative” relationships referred to in this provision will only be considered “Immediate Family” in cases where it is a current relationship at the time the benefit is claimed.
Immediate Family. Immediate Family means any Member’s spouse (other than a spouse who is legally separated from the Person under a decree of divorce or separate maintenance), parents, parents-in-law, descendants (including descendants by adoption), brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, children-in-law, and grandchildren-in-law.
Immediate Family. The members of your “immediate family” are deemed to include the following: your spouse; your parents; your children; your siblings; your mother-in-law or father-in-law; your sons- and daughters-in-law; and your brothers- and sisters-in-law.

In the event of a death of an employee’s immediate family member, the employee may take a leave of absence without loss of pay or leave credits for up to five scheduled workdays between date of the death and the day after the burial. For purposes of bereavement leave, “immediate family member” will mean the following: • Spouse or Domestic Partner • Child (including step & xxxxxx) • Parent or Legal Guardian

Other members of the Employees household not listed who are, in fact, if not by legal relationship, members of the immediate family, may at the discretion of the Association and Board, be so considered.
