Competing Business. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Employee agrees that, while employed by the Company, Employee will not, directly or indirectly (whether as employee, agent, consultant, holder of a beneficial interest, creditor, or in any other capacity), engage in any business or venture which conflicts with Employee’s duties under this Agreement, including services that are directly or indirectly in competition with the business of the Company or any of its affiliates, or have any interest in any person, firm, corporation, or venture which engages directly or indirectly in competition with the business of the Company or any of its affiliates. For purposes of this section, the ownership of interests in a broadly based mutual fund shall not constitute ownership of the stocks held by the fund.
Competing Business. Competing Business" means any financial institution or trust company that competes with, or will compete in Washington State with, InterWest, the Bank, or any of InterWest's Subsidiaries.
