Design and Engineering. Affected System Operator shall commence design and engineering of the Affected System Upgrade Facilities as soon as practicable after it receives written authorization to proceed with design and engineering from the Transmission Developer by the date specified in Appendix A hereto, unless the Transmission Developer and Affected System Operator otherwise agree in writing.
Design and Engineering. 2.1.5 Major Equipment Procurement
Design and Engineering. The Connecting Transmission Owner shall commence design and engineering of the Transmission Project and Network Upgrade Facilities as soon as practicable after all of the SERVICE AGREEMENT NO. 2472 following conditions are satisfied, unless the Transmission Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner otherwise agree in writing: NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner have completed the Facilities Study pursuant to the Facilities Study Agreement; The NYISO has completed the required cost allocation analyses, and Transmission Developer has provided Security to the Connecting Transmission Owner in accordance with Article 11.5 by the date specified in Appendix B hereto; and The Connecting Transmission Owner has received written authorization to proceed with design and engineering from the Transmission Developer by the date specified in Appendix B hereto.
Design and Engineering. Personnel All design and engineering Work furnished by the Design-Builder shall be performed by or under the supervision of persons or entities licensed to practice architecture, engineering, or surveying (as applicable) in the State, and by personnel who are skilled, experienced and competent in their respective trades or professions, who are professionally qualified to perform the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents, and who shall assume professional responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the Design Documents in accordance with all Applicable Law.
Design and Engineering. Prior to the Effective Date, Contractor shall have scrutinized, and satisfied itself as to the adequacy of, the Specifications (including design criteria and calculations, if any) for completion of the Project. Contractor shall be responsible for the design of the Project and for the accuracy of the Specifications. Any data or information received by Contractor, from Owner or otherwise, shall not relieve Contractor from its responsibility for the design of the Project and execution of the Services. Contractor shall engage all supervisors, engineers, designers, draftsmen and other Persons necessary for the preparation of all Documentation required for the Work. In connection with the Documentation, Contractor shall prepare working drawings and specifications setting forth in detail the requirements for the construction of the Project in accordance with this Agreement (the “Design Documents”). Contractor shall submit those Design Documents identified in Exhibit A for Owner’s review, and Owner shall complete its review of, and provide any comments to Contractor with respect to, the Design Documents within ten (10) Days of receiving such Design Documents from Contractor (and such Design Documents shall be deemed reviewed without comment if Contractor does not receive any comments from Owner within such time period). If Owner notifies Contractor that the Design Documents fail to comply with this Agreement, Contractor shall correct such Design Documents and shall resubmit them for Owner’s prompt review within five (5) Business Days in accordance herewith. Owner shall be entitled, but not obligated, to review and comment on all other Design Documents not identified in Exhibit A. Any review by Owner of any Design Documents pursuant to this Section shall not relieve Contractor from any obligation or responsibility under this Agreement. If errors, omissions, ambiguities, inconsistencies, inadequacies or other defects are found in the Designs Documents, they shall be corrected at Contractor’s cost, notwithstanding any prior consent or approval of Owner of any such Design Documents.
Design and Engineering. The Contractor shall provide or cause to be provided in a diligent and competent manner all design and engineering services which shall be necessary or advisable (including geotechnical investigations) for the expeditious, economical and sound design and completion of the Project in accordance with the terms of this Agreement, with due consideration given to all Governmental Approvals (including the relevant provisions in the Specified Permit Applications), Private Rights-of-Way and Laws. The Contractor's design and engineering services include, but are not limited to, the preparation of complete detailed drawings and other documents, including surveys, schedules and estimates required. for Final Completion of the Project, and coordination with Subcontractors. All engineering work shall be performed by or under the supervision of professional engineers licensed to perform such engineering services in the State of Texas as required by Law.
Design and Engineering. If the Work includes any design component, NorthWestern will engage engineers licensed within the jurisdiction where the Work is performed. NorthWestern will prepare all drawings, specifications, calculations, plans, reports and other design documentation (collectively the “Design Documents”) for such portions of the Work. Design Documents requiring certification or seal will be certified or sealed by a professional engineer, licensed and qualified to perform engineering services in jurisdiction of the Project Site.

The goal of this task is to design and engineer a biogas conditioning facility capable of receiving 1,100 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) of raw biogas and cleaning up of that biogas to PG&E pipeline injection standards.
