Retirement Plan Supplemental Benefit definition

Retirement Plan Supplemental Benefit means the benefit provided for pursuant to Article III hereof.

Examples of Retirement Plan Supplemental Benefit in a sentence

  • A Participant’s Retirement Plan Supplemental Benefit which is paid in the form of annuity shall be subject to the same actuarial adjustments for form of payment applicable to Retirement Plan benefits.

  • Notwithstanding any other provision of this Section 5, distributions of the Retirement Plan Supplemental Benefit and the 401(k) Plan Supplemental Benefit accounts made to a Participant who is identified as a Key Employee at the time of his or her Separation from Service will be delayed for a minimum of six months if the Participant’s distribution is triggered by his or her Separation from Service.

  • A Participant’s Plan Benefit shall consist of (to the extent applicable to the Participant) (i) the Retirement Plan Supplemental Benefit and (ii) the 401(k) Plan Supplemental Benefit.

  • A Participant’s vested Retirement Plan Supplemental Benefit shall be payable to the Participant or to any other person who receives benefits under the Retirement Plan with respect to the Participant in the same form and at the same times as the Participant’s Retirement Plan benefit is paid.

  • A Participant’s Retirement Plan Supplemental Benefit shall be subject to the same actuarial adjustments for time and form of payment applicable to Retirement Plan benefits.

  • An Eligible Employee shall earn a Retirement Plan Supplemental Benefit as of any determination date in an amount equal to the lump sum actuarial equivalent value of his or her Unrestricted Retirement Plan Benefit less the lump sum actuarial equivalent value of his or her Actual Retirement Plan Benefit, determined as of the determination date.

  • If a Participant’s Retirement Plan Supplemental Benefit is payable before the Participant is first eligible to receive benefits under the Retirement Plan, the Retirement Plan Supplemental Benefit will be calculated to be the Actual Equivalent of the amount payable at Normal Retirement.

  • A Participant’s Retirement Plan Supplemental Benefit shall be reduced by the Participant’s retirement plan supplemental benefit accrued under the Prior Plan.

  • A Participant’s Retirement Plan Supplemental Benefit shall be the amount determined under Section 4(a)(i) minus the amount determined under Section 4(a)(ii).

  • A Participant’s Retirement Plan Supplemental Benefit shall be the amount determined under Subsection (i) below minus the amount determined under Subsection (ii).

Related to Retirement Plan Supplemental Benefit

  • Supplemental Benefit means the monthly benefit payable to the Executive under this Agreement.

  • Retirement Plans means the retirement income, supplemental executive retirement, excess benefits and retiree medical, life and similar benefit plans providing retirement perquisites, benefits and service credit for benefits at least as great in value in the aggregate as are payable thereunder prior to a Change in Control.

  • Supplemental Retirement Benefit means the benefit determined under Article V of this Plan.

  • Plan Benefit means the benefit payable to a Participant as calculated in Article V.

  • SERP has the meaning assigned thereto in Section 5(c) hereof.

  • Supplemental Retirement Plan means (i) the Company’s Amended and Restated Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan, (ii) the Company’s Supplemental Management Retirement Plan, (iii) the Company’s Amended and Restated Top Hat Restoration Plan, and (iv) the Company’s Defined Contribution Restoration Plan.

  • Retirement Plan means a plan which provides retirement benefits to you and which is not funded wholly by your contributions. The term shall not include a profit-sharing plan, informal salary continuation plan, registered retirement savings plan, stock ownership plan, 401(K) or a non-qualified plan of deferred compensation.

  • Retirement Benefits means benefits paid by reference to reaching, or the expectation of reaching, retirement or, where they are supplementary to those benefits and provided on an ancillary basis, in the form of payments on death, disability, or cessation of employment or in the form of support payments or services in case of sickness, indigence or death. In order to facilitate financial security in retirement, these benefits may take the form of payments for life, payments made for a temporary period, a lump sum, or any combination thereof;

  • Retirement Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 5.

  • Early Retirement Benefit means the retirement benefit payable to a member following early

  • Pre-Retirement Survivor Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 6.

  • Normal Retirement Benefit means the benefit described in Section 2.1.

  • Accrued Benefit means the amount standing in a Participant's Account(s) as of any date derived from both Employer contributions and Employee contributions, if any.

  • Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit means an annual amount (before taking into account federal and state income taxes), payable in monthly installments throughout the Payout Period. Such benefit is projected pursuant to the Agreement for the purpose of determining the Contributions to be made to the Retirement Income Trust Fund (or Phantom Contributions to be recorded in the Accrued Benefit Account). The annual Contributions and Phantom Contributions have been actuarially determined, using the assumptions set forth in Exhibit A, in order to fund for the projected Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit. The Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit for which Contributions (or Phantom Contributions) are being made (or recorded) is set forth in Exhibit A.

  • Termination Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 7.

  • Death Benefit means the insurance amount payable under the Certificate at death of the Insured, subject to all Certificate provisions dealing with changes in the amount of insurance and reductions or termination for age or retirement. It does not include any amount that is only payable in the event of Accidental Death.

  • Deferred Plan means a trust governed by a registered retirement savings plan, registered retirement income fund, registered education savings plan or tax-free savings account.

  • Change in Control Benefit means the benefit described in Section 2.4.

  • Public benefit means making capital available, or facilitating the availability of capital, to businesses in this state that have 750 or fewer employees, the intent of which is to create or retain employment opportunities for residents of this state, stabilize or increase the tax base of this state, or support the redevelopment of facilities for use by small businesses.

  • Individual retirement account means a trust, custodial arrangement, or annuity under Section 408(a) or (b), Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (26 U.S.C. Section 408 (1986)).

  • Thrift Plan means the Financial Institutions Thrift Plan, a qualified and tax-exempt defined contribution plan and trust under Sections 401(a) and 501(a) of the Code, as adopted by the Bank.

  • Company Pension Plan means each: (a) Company Employee Plan that is an “employee pension benefit plan,” within the meaning of Section 3(2) of ERISA; or (b) other occupational pension plan, including any final salary or money purchase plan.

  • Medical benefit plan means a plan established and maintained by a carrier, a voluntary employees' beneficiary association described in section 501(c)(9) of the internal revenue code of 1986, 26 USC 501, or by 1 or more public employers, that provides for the payment of medical benefits, including, but not limited to, hospital and physician services, prescription drugs, and related benefits, for public employees or elected public officials. Medical benefit plan does not include benefits provided to individuals retired from a public employer or a public employer's contributions to a fund used for the sole purpose of funding health care benefits that are available to a public employee or an elected public official only upon retirement or separation from service.

  • Retirement Account means any retirement or pension fund or account, listed in Iowa Code section 627.6(8)“f” as exempt from execution, regardless of the amount of contribution, the interest generated, or the total amount in the fund or account.

  • retirement annuity contract means a contract or scheme approved under Chapter III of Part XIV of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988;

  • Annual Benefit means an annual sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) multiplied by the Applicable Percentage (defined below) and then reduced to the extent required: (i) under the other provisions of this Agreement; (ii) by reason of the lawful order of any regulatory agency or body having jurisdiction over the Employer; and (iii) in order for the Employer to properly comply with any and all applicable state and federal laws, including, but not limited to, income, employment and disability income tax laws (eg., FICA, FUTA, SDI).
