Reimbursement for Continuing Education. The Company shall reimburse Executive for reasonable expenses incurred for continuing education courses (i) necessary to maintain any certifications or licenses Executive may hold relating to his position with the Company, or (ii) that are otherwise related to Executive’s position with the Company. Such courses shall be subject to approval by the Company, and the reimbursement under this paragraph shall be limited to $5,000 per calendar year.

Reimbursement for Continuing Education. The Board will pay $125 per semester hour for graduate work earned during the summer on a college campus or at another time as requested and approved by the Superintendent. The graduate credit must be earned in the major or minor area of teaching assignment or in another area as requested and approved by the Superintendent. Teachers taking advantage of this benefit must receive program or course approval in writing from the Superintendent. The Board will pay $250 per semester hour to staff working on an approved and accredited Masters Degree Program. Request for reimbursement will be made upon proof of successful completion of the course and by written request to the Superintendent.
Reimbursement for Continuing Education. Upon prior written approval from the Director or their designee, a paraprofessional would be able to take part in a conference, workshop, coursework, training or any other continuing education project that is related to the employee’s current assignment and receive reimbursement for their tuition, books, registration fees, or any other costs associated with attending such events. Costs of such events shall not exceed $250 per employee per school year. The right to grant or deny reimbursement under this section alone is at the Director’s or their designee’s discretion.
Reimbursement for Continuing Education. There shall be a fund of $900 for each certified staff for tuition fees and supplies for continuing graduate education. Said education shall be appropriate for teaching in the district. Each course or course of study shall be pre-approved by administration before the course commences. Each teacher may request reimbursement for up to 4 courses per contract year. Requests for reimbursement may be made at any time before August 1 of the contract year providing that the teacher has completed the course and received an A or B in the class. There will be no carry over if monies are not used. Teachers, taking the tuition reimbursement shall agree, in writing, to serve in the district a minimum of one year, after completion of the program. If the teacher decides to leave the district prior to the one year, that teacher will fully reimburse the district for tuition expenses.

Reimbursement for Continuing Education. Employer agrees to pay for Employee’s reasonable, required continuing education. Employer shall reimburse Employee for any and all reasonable deductible expenses paid for these educational benefits, which the IRS allows Employer to deduct as a legitimate expense that Employee requires in order to remain current competent, and licensed as an ARNP. An estimate of any such expenses shall be submitted to Employer for approval in advance of Employee incurring them. However, in the event that this Agreement is terminated for any reason, Employee shall reimburse Employer for any amounts Employer has paid during the twelve (12) month period prior to the last day of employment.

  • Special Education Special education services, related services, and accommodations for students who are eligible under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any applicable provisions of state law, shall be provided in accordance with applicable state and federal law, this Agreement and Authorizer rules and policies. The Authorizer is the LEA for purposes of ensuring compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and all other federal and state laws and regulations concerning accommodation of and education of students with disabilities.

  • Union Education If the local union indicates to the Hospital that its members have approved a special assessment for union education in accordance with the CUPE constitution and local union by laws, the Hospital agrees to deduct this assessment.   • Reimbursement for Advances If the Fund requires the Custodian to advance cash or securities for any purpose including the purchase or sale of foreign exchange or of contracts for foreign exchange, or in the event that the Custodian or its nominee shall incur or be assessed any taxes, charges, expenses, assessments, claims or liabilities in connection with the performance of this Contract, except such as may arise from its or its nominee's own negligent action, negligent failure to act or willful misconduct, any property at any time held for the account of the Fund shall be security therefor and should the Fund fail to repay the Custodian promptly, the Custodian shall be entitled to utilize available cash and to dispose of the Fund assets to the extent necessary to obtain reimbursement.

  • Educational Reimbursement SECTION 1. The purpose of this Article is to xxxxxx a learning environment and provide educational opportunities that are mutually beneficial to the employees and the County and will encourage eligible employees to participate in education programs which will further their skills and knowledge for use in their current position or for use in a possible future position of greater responsibility. The Educational Reimbursement Program shall be a plan as provided for in Section 127 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”) and shall be construed consistently with the requirements of Section 127. Amounts paid for tuition reimbursement meeting the requirements of Section 127 of the IRS Tax Code are not included in an Employee’s income or subject to income tax withholding up to a maximum of $5,250 annually. If subsequent tax law changes fail to continue the tax-free treatment, or in any way modify its treatment, appropriate adjustments in tax withholding will be made from the effective date of the change. This Article does not apply to training seminars, conferences, workshops, etc.
