INTRODUZIONE

Gli apparecchi denominati “TAVOLO PIZZA” e “VETRINA PIZZA” sono stati realizzati rispettando l’insieme delle norme comunitarie riguardanti la libera circolazione dei prodotti industriali e commerciali nei paesi

C.E.E. (vedi “Direttiva sulla Compatibilità Elettromagnetica” - DIRETTIVA 2004/108/CE del Parlamento Euro- peo e del Consiglio; vedi “Direttiva Bassa Tensione” -DIRETTIVA 2006/95/CE del Parlamento Europeo e del Consiglio ). L’apparecchio è conforme alla direttiva EU2002/95/EC — RoHS.

I mobili sono quindi forniti completi di tutta la documentazione richiesta da tali normative.

Il costruttore ha progettato l’apparecchio allo scopo di garantire condizioni di utilizzo sicure. L’esclusione delle sicu- rezze elettriche o lo smontaggio delle protezioni previste dal costruttore compromettono gravemente le condizioni di sicurezza di cui sopra. Tali condizioni sono inoltre subordinate al rispetto delle indicazioni relative all’installazione ed all’alimentazione del mobile che dovranno essere tassativamente rispettate. L’apparecchio deve essere utilizzato in accordo con quanto specificato nel p resente manuale. Se ne raccoma nda pertanto un’attenta lettura pri ma d’ogni operazione d’installazione, messa in funzione e/o rimozione (spostamento e nuova locazione) dell’apparecchiatura. La manutenzione comporta poche e semplici operazioni eseguibili da un tecnico specializzato. USO DEL MANUALE

Il manuale d’uso e manutenzione costituisce parte integrante del mobile. E’ necessario conservarlo integro ed in luogo sicuro durante tutta la vita dell’apparecchio, anche nel caso di passaggio di proprietà ad altro utilizzatore. Il manuale deve essere di facile ed immediata consultazione da parte degli operatori e dei manutentori e deve essere posto nelle vicinanze del mobile.

L’apparecchio viene fornito completo di tutta la documentazione richiesta dalle normative vigenti, che sono rispettate sia in fase di progettazione che di realizzazione.

Tutte le istruzioni contenute nel manuale devono servire all’operatore ed al tecnico qualificato, per compiere, in mo- do corretto e sicuro, tutte le operazioni d’installazione, messa in funzione, utilizzo e manutenzione dell’impianto.

Questo manuale d’uso e manutenzione contiene tutte le informazioni necessarie per una buona gestione dell’impian- to con particolare attenzione alla sicurezza.

CONSERVAZIONE DEL MANUALE

Si raccomanda di utilizzare il manuale con cura in modo tale da non comprometterne il contenuto. Non asportare, strappare o riscrivere per alcun motivo parti del manuale.

Conservare il man uale in luoghi protetti da umidità e calo re. Il manuale istruzioni deve essere conservato nelle vicinanze dell’apparecchio in modo da renderne agevole la consultazione. Dopo ogni operazione il m anuale deve essere riposto con cura. Il manuale va conservato per tutta la durata dell’apparecchio e trasmesso ad eventuale altro utente o successivo proprietario.

La VETRINA PIZZA è disponibile come segue:

• Vetro di copertura e telaio con supporto per vaschetta gastronomia GN (le vaschette ga- stronomia GN non sono incluse).

Entrambi, banco PIZZA e vetrina PIZZA sono forniti con tensione di alimentazione standard 230V - 1 - 50Hz.

La struttura esterna ed interna è co stituita in acciaio inox 304 mentre il fondo è in lamiera zincata. La coibentazione della vasca è realizzata con re sine poliuretaniche espanse con densità di 38-4 2Kg./Mc. L’alimentazione avviene tramite cavo elettrico già predisposto dal costruttore.

L’Isolamento della vasca è realizzata senza l'uso di CFC a basso impatto ambientale.

1 POSIZIONAMENTO DEL MOBILE

Prima di scaricare/caricare e posizionare il mobile all'interno del locale di vendita, si prega di consultare attentamente il manuale nelle varie sezioni riguardanti lo scarico/carico del mobile, lunghezze, pesi, vaschetta di scarico acqua di conden- sa, posizione dei piedini di regolazione e del quadro elettrico relativo al mobile in oggetto del presente nel manuale d'uso e di manutenzione del mobile.

1_10 TRASPORTO

NO SI

Non sovrapporre il mobile uno sopra l’altro ( è possibile solo se il mobile è imballato con gabbia). Si raccomanda che il mobile frigorifero venga trasportato sempre e solo in posizione orizzontale (indicazioni Alto-Basso sull’imballo). Se il mobile frigorifero con unità condensatrice incorporata viene inclinato, si consiglia di attendere almeno otto ore, prima di procedere all’avviamento. In questo modo, si permetterà all’olio di defluire in tutti i componenti in modo che essi né risultino lubrificati nuovamente; successivamente si potrà procedere all’avviamento.

1_15 SCARICO MOBILE / DIMENSIONI / PESI

Prima di iniziare le operazioni di scarico, posizionamento ed installazione del mobile frigorifero all'in- terno del punto di vendita, a seconda del tipo di modello di mobile, consultare con attenzione i dati ri- portati nella tabella lunghezza, peso.

Non sovrapporre il mobile uno sopra l’altro ( è possibile solo se il mobile è imballato con gabbia).

1_20 IMBALLO

Togliere il cartone di imballo esterno del mobile, levare i fermi che fissano il mobile al pallet, posizionare il mobile e rimuovere la pellicola adesiva a protezione dell’acciaio.

ATTENZIONE:

L’imballo della vetrinetta contiene al suo interno anche il vetro di copertura della stessa, maneggiare ed installare con cura.

Il recupero ed il riciclaggio dei materiali dell'imballo quali plastica, ferro, cartone, legno contribuisce al risparmio delle materie prime ed alla diminuzione dei rifiuti. Consultare gli indirizzi nella propria zona per lo smaltimento in discarica e cen- tro autorizzato rifiuti.

1_30 POSIZIONAMENTO E REGOLAZIONE PIEDINI

Sistemare il mobile frigorifero in posizione perfettamente orizzontale, agendo se necessario sulla regolazione dei piedini a vite delle gambe del mobile per regolarne il livello verificare la planarità con una bolla. Il mobile deve essere posizionato perfettamente in piano per poter funzionare correttamente e permettere il corretto scarico dell'acqua di condensa dello sbrinamento, inoltre si evitano vibrazioni rumo- rose del motore. Verificare il corretto posizionamento della vaschetta scarico acqua di condensa e del relativo scarico.

1_35 INSTALLAZIONE ALL'INTERNO DEL PUNTO DI VENDITA

Si consiglia di installare il mobile frigorifero all’interno di un locale con impianto di aria condizionato. Inoltre, ricordiamo che se il locale non è condizionato, potrebbero verificarsi malfunzionamenti ad esempio formazione di condensa….etc.

In modo da permettere un buon funzionamento del mobile frigorifero, prestare attenzione alle seguenti indicazioni:

• Non posizionare il mobile con esposizione diretta ai raggi solari ed a tutte le altre forme di irraggiamento, quali illuminazione ad incandescenza ad alta intensità, forni di cottura, o corpi radianti tipo radiatori per riscaldamento.

• Non posizionare il mobile vicino ad aperture verso l'esterno in corrente d’aria, quali porte e finestre o a diretto con- tatto con i flussi d'aria provenienti da ventilatori, bocchette e fancoil per il condizionamento dell'aria.

• Non ostruire le prese d’aria dell’unità monoblocco o del’unità condensatrice.

• Non appoggiare alcun tipo di materiale, scatoloni o altro, lasciando libero tutto l’intero perimetro del mobile in modo che vi sia ricircolo d’aria.

• Non posizionare il mobile frigorifero all’interno di un locale ad alta umidità relativa (possibile formazione di conden- sa)

• Non posizionare il mobile frigorifero dentro una nicchia chiusa, in quanto non essendoci ricircolo d’aria l’unità refrige- rante potrebbe non funzionare.

Verificare che nell'ambiente vi sia sufficiente ricambio d'aria, anche nei periodi di chiusura del locale di vendita. In que- sto modo l’unità monoblocco / unità condensatrice incorportata potranno funzionare correttamente.

1_40 DISTANZE MINIME DAL MURO

Al fine di permettere un buon funzionamento del mobile e quindi un corretto ricircolo d’aria, durante la fase di posizionamento del mobile, si devono rispettare le distanze MINIME come segue:

• Mantenere uno distanza MINIMA di cm 60 dal frontale della griglia motore

• Mantenere una distanza MINIMA di cm 10 dallo schienale del mobile al muro, in questo modo si eviterà la formazione di condensa.

1_45 MOBILE CON UNITA' REFRIGERANTE INCORPORATA

Se il mobile frigorifero è dotato di unità refrigerante incorporata, bisogna evitare di ostruire le prese d'aria dell'unità in corrispondenza della griglia di aspirazione aria del mobile frigorifero in questo modo si permetterà un corretto ricam- bio d'aria. Evitare dunque di depositare prodotti o altri materiali sul perimetro del mobile frigorifero.

Ricordiamo che un innalzamento della temperatura ambiente o un'insufficiente quantità di aria al condensatore dell'unità frigori- fera, riducono le prestazioni del mobile frigorifero con possibile deterioramento dei prodotti esposti e con maggior consumo di energia. Se il mobile frigorifero è dotato di monoblocco refrigerante o unità condensatrice incorporata e venisse incli- nato, si consiglia di attendere almeno otto ore prima di procedere all’avviamento in modo che l’olio presente nel com- pressore defluisca al suo interno e tutti i suoi componenti né risultino lubrificati nuovamente, successivamente si potrà procedere all’avviamento.

1_50 MOBILE PREDISPOSTO PER UNITA’ REFRIGERANTE in versione REMOTA

Per quanto riguarda il collegamento elettrico si deve attenersi scrupolosamente alle normative elettriche vigenti in materia; si ricorda inoltre, che l'installazione elettrica e frigorifera deve essere effettuata esclusivamente da personale specializzato.

Nel caso di mobili frigoriferi con unità condensatrice remota, il gruppo deve essere collocato al riparo degli agenti atmosferici, evitando di utilizzare il sito come deposito di materiali. A seconda delle caratteristiche del modello dell'unita condensatri- ce remota, si devono rispettare gli spazi dal muro o da altri ostacoli in modo che vi sia un ricambio d'aria sufficiente- mente adeguato che garantisce un corretto funzionamento del mobile frigorifero e una facile manutenzione.

2 PULIZIA

2_1 PULIZIA DEL MOBILE FRIGORIFERO

È' indispensabile tenere pulito il mobile frigorifero. Tutte le operazioni di pulizia devono essere eseguite con unità fer- ma, togliendo tensione sia al mobile refrigerato che all'unità condensatrice.

Non utilizzare acqua con getto per lavare le parti interne del mobile in quanto le parti elettriche potrebbero danneg- giarsi. Non utilizzare attrezzi metallici duri per asportare il ghiaccio.

Per la pulizia usare solo acqua tiepida con detersivi non aggressivi avendo poi cura di asciugare le parti umide con uno straccio morbido.

Evitare di usare prodotti che contengono cloro e sue soluzioni diluite , soda caustica, detersivi abrasivi, acido muriati- co, aceto, varechina o altri prodotti che possono graffiare o smerigliare.

Un lavaggio settimanale è raccomandato per il fondo della vasca specialmente per i mobili soggetti a fuoriuscite di liquidi o di altri detriti di alimenti. Va fatta pulizia con detergente anche nelle zone esterne che circondano l'area espositiva: serve a mante- nere il mobile presentabile e previene la formazione di sporcizia.

Attenzione, durante le operazioni di pulizia della mobile frigorifero è consigliabile l'uso di guanti da lavoro. Attenzione non danneggiare e piegare le alette dell'evaporatore ed i tubi del fluido refrigerante.

La manutenzione di un mobile adibito alla conservazione di prodotti quali carne, salumi e l atticini, deve includere almeno una pulizia periodica settimanale della zona di carico per prevenire lo sviluppo e l'accumulo di batteri.

Si raccomanda di eseguire almeno una pulizia mensile interna, se il mobile frigorifero è adibito alla conservazione di prodotti surgelati.

2_2 PULIZIA CONDENSATORE UNITA' CONDENSATRICE

Tutte le operazioni di pulizia sia del mobile frigorifero che del monoblocco refrige- rante o dell’unità condensatrice incorporata devono essere eseguite con unità fer- ma, togliendo la tensione elettrica.

Si raccomanda che tale pulizia venga effettuata da personale specializzato.

Per poter cont are sempre su l buo n funzio namento d ell'unità cond ensatrice è necess ario eseguire periodicamente la pulizia del condensatore. Questa pulizia dipende principalmen- te dall'ambiente dove è installata l'unità condensatrice.

Si consiglia di utilizzare un getto d'aria soffiando dall'interno verso l'esterno dell'u- nità; qualora non fosse possibile, utilizzare un pennello a setola lunga sull'esterno del con- densatore. Attenzione a non danneggiare il circuito del fluido refrigerante.

ATTENZIONE: Per queste operazioni si consiglia di utilizzare guanti di protezione

3 COLLEGAMENTO ELETTRICO E MESSA A TERRA

3_1 ALIMENTAZIONE ELETTRICA.

L'installazione ed i collegamenti elettrici devono essere eseguiti a regola d’arte attenendosi alle norme elettriche vigenti in materia. Tali lavori saranno eseguiti da personale specializzato ed abilitato secondo le normative di legge vigenti. L’azienda declina ogni responsabilità derivante dall’inosservanza delle norme elettriche vigenti in materia.

Vedere schema elettrico del mobile.

Prima di collegare elettricamente il mobile eseguire una pulizia accurata e completa del mobile frigorifero utilizzando ac- qua tiepida con detergenti neutri non aggressivi ed asciugando poi con uno straccio mor bido tutte le p arti umide (attenzione, leggere attentamente la sezione pulizia del mobile).

Per eseguire un corretto collegamento elettrico procedere come segue:

• Predisporre un interruttore magnetotermico differenziale ed accerta rsi che la fre quenza / tensio ne di linea cor ri- sponda a quella indicata sulla targhetta di identificazione del mobile frigorifero (vedere posizionamento targhetta)

• Verificare la tensione di alimentazione al punto di presa, sia quella nominale +-10% al momento dell'avviamento del compressore.

• Si consiglia di montare un interruttore unipolare (o quadri polare) di sezionamento con apertura dei contatti di al- meno 3 mm, a monte della presa. Questo interruttore è obbligatorio quando il carico supera i 1000 Watt o quando il mo- bile viene collegato direttamente senza l' impiego della spina. L’interruttore magnetotermico deve ess ere posto ne lle im- mediate vicinanze del mobile in modo tale che esso possa essere ben visibile dal tecnico in caso di manutenzione.

È necessario che la sezione del cavo di alimentazione sia adeguata alla potenza assorbita dal gruppo.

• È obbligatorio a termine di legge la messa a terra dell’impianto, pertanto è neces sario col legarlo ad un efficient e impianto di messa a terra. Nel caso in cui il cavo di alimentazione sia danneggiato,esso deve essere sostituito da personale tecnico specializzato in modo da prevenire ogni rischio. Si raccomanda inoltre di non usare apparecchi elettrici all’ interno degli scomparti del mobile .

• Nel caso in cui il compressore sia danneggiato, questo deve essere sostituito esclusivamente da per- sonale specializzato in modo da prevenire ogni rischio. Si consiglia, per evitare i n caso di gu asto di disi nserire tutto l'impianto, di utilizzare come sezionatore un interruttore magnetotermico con differenziale da alta sensibilità.

3_2 AVVIAMENTO DEL MOBILE

Prima di accendere il mobile frigorifero bisogna verificare che:

• il mobile frigorifero con unità condensatrice incorporata sia stato trasportato esclusivamente in posizione verti- cale, se fosse stato inclinato, si consiglia di aspettare almeno 8 ore prima di procedere all’avviamento in modo che l’olio presente nel compressore defluisca al suo interno e tutti i suoi componenti ne risultino lubrificati nuovamente.

• Per la regolazione dei parametri di funzionamento consultare le istruzioni d’uso del quadro elettronico di con- trollo allegate al presente manuale.

• Per mobili con gruppo incorporato, prima di inserire la spina nella presa di corrente elettrica, verificare che il seziona- tore sia aperto in posizione 0, OFF o verde. Inserire la spina e quindi chiudere l'interruttore

• Evitare di impostare temperature inferiori a quelle relative alla categoria del mobile.

• Per mobili o gruppo remoto il primo avviamento deve essere effettuato da personale specializzato.

Collegato al mobile alla linea di alimentazione (paragrafo vedasi punto precedente), si proceda alimentandolo con la chiusura dell’interruttore.

Attenzione: prima di caricare la merce nel mobile, si deve attendere che la temperatura desiderata e impostata sul pan- nello di controllo sia raggiunta. Evitare di impostare temperature più basse di quelle relative alla categoria del mobile, in quanto si andrebbe a creare l’intasamento dell’evaporatore.

4 RACCOMANDAZIONI ED AVVERTENZE

4.1 MAX CARICO PRODOTTO SU RIPIANO.

Carico MAX uniformemente distribuito per ogni ripiano grigliato 40 kg.

4.2 SBRINAMENTI

I mobili sono dotati di sistema automatico per lo sbrinamento periodico giornaliero già impostato in fabbrica e modifi- cabile in numero, durata ed intervallo, agendo sul pannello di controllo; tale operazione deve essere eseguita da un tecnico specializzato In tal uni casi può c omunque ver ificarsi la nec essità di effettua re uno sbr inamento man uale age ndo sull'apposito comando situato sul pannello di controllo, o più semplicemente spegnendo l'impianto di raffreddamento per il tem- po necessario a far sciogl iere tutto il ghiacc io presente nella serpentina (variabile dalle condizioni climatiche e dalla quantità di ghiaccio presente).

Per il mobile destinato a prodotti surgelati o confezionati si consiglia una pulizia completa mensile compreso uno sbri- namento. Giornalmente si suggerisce una pulizia esterna del mobile compresa la parte interna della porta in prossimi- tà delle guarnizioni.

4.3 CARICO DEL PRODOTTO e CONSERVAZIONE

Il mobile è adatto alla conservazione di prodotti ad uso alimentari che, al momento del carico nello stes- so, devono avere una temperatura prossima a quella ideale per la conservazione.

Non introdurre nel mobile prodotto caldo; il prodotto va introdotto nel mobile esclusivamente già refrigerato. Prima di caricare la merce nel mobile frigorifero, attendere che la temperatura desiderata sia raggiunta dal mobile frigorifero.

Per il corretto funzionamento del mobile, è necessario , che i prodotti contenuti siano disposti in modo da non ostacolare la libera circolazione dell’aria refrigerata all’interno del mobile stesso.

IMPORTANTE: EVITARE DI SOVRACCARICARE IL MOBILE, IN PARTICOLARE NELLA PARTE ALTA IN CORRISPON- DENZA DELLA MANDATA DELL’ARIA DELL’L’EVAPORATORE (fig.2)

Qualora i prodotti refrigerati rimangano nelle zone non refrigerate, per un tempo superiore alle due ore si devono ri- portare nelle celle per refrigerarli prima di caricarli nel mobile.

Per un buon funzionamento del mobile si ricorda che:

- L’apertura delle porte del mobile provoca una fuoriuscita di freddo, per questo, si raccomanda di limitare l’apertura delle stes- se per il tempo strettamente necessario al carico dei prodotti.

- Caricando il prodotto da raffreddare si peggiorano tutte le condizioni di funzionamento rischiando di danneggiare i prodotti già contenuti nel mobile. Perciò bisogna evitare lo stazionamento dei prodotti in luoghi non refrigerati per evitarne l’eccessiva perdi- ta di freddo.

- Mantenere libere da ostruzi oni tutte quelle aperture di ventilazione dell'aria di mandata e di ripresa all'interno del mobile refri- gerato.

Nel caso di esposizione di prodotti di salumi affettati e in genere di formaggi stagionati è opportuno che questi non appoggino direttamente sul piano di esposizione ma su delle griglie che permettano la traspirazione della merce. In questo modo si evita che sul prodotto si formino delle zone bianche ed umide. I cassetti e gli sportelli dei banchi a servizio, le porte di armadi e di celle devono aprirsi solo per il tempo strettamente necessario per il carico e lo scarico dei prodotti in modo da evitare l'aumento della temperatura interna del mobile e successivamente ad un ulteriore consumo di energia per riportare il prodotto alla temperatura iniziale di conservazione.

I mobili sono adatti all'esposizione di pr odotto refrigerato c he deve giungere ai ma gazzini ad u na temperatura vicina a qu ella ideale di conservazione. All'arrivo dei prodotti dal fornitore, è n ecessario metterli nei banchi o nelle celle frigo per evitare l'ec- cessiva perdita di freddo dovuta alla loro stazionamento in luoghi non refrigerati. Per il buon funzionamento del mobile è neces- sario che la disposizione del prodotto non ostacoli la circolazione dell'aria refrigerata.

ATTENZIONE: I bambini devono essere seguiti assicurandosi che non giochino con il mobile frigorifero.

5 MANUTENZIONE

Tutte le operazioni di manutenzioni e riparazioni del mobile frigorifero devono essere eseguite con unità ferma, togliendo tensione sia al mobile stesso che all'unità condensatrice. Tali operazioni devono essere eseguite esclusivamente da personale abilitato e specializzato.

5_1 CONTROLLI PERIODICI

A periodi regolari (almeno una volta per a nno), fare verifica re da pers onale specializzato il perfetto funz ionamento del sistema, si deve prestare attenzione e controllare che:

• l’impianto scarico dell’acqua di condensa funzioni correttamente

• non vi siano perdite di gas refrigerante e che l’impianto refrigerante funzioni correttamente

• lo stato di manutenzione dell'impianto elettrico sia in completa sicurezza.

• le guarnizioni delle porte e la porta stessa si chiudano correttamente

• Pulire il condensatore dell’unità refrigerante.

5_2 SOSTITUZIONE LAMPADE ILLUMINAZIONE

Se il mobile è dotato di lampade, le stesse devono essere sostituite con altre di identica potenza. Verificarne i dati ri- portati sulla targhetta posta a lato della lampada. Tali dati definiscono la potenza assorbita dalla lampada.

Per la sostituzione delle lampade al neon oppure di lampada a tartaruga è sempre necessario staccare la spina di ali- mentazione o aprire il sezionatore posto a monte del collegamento del mobile frigorifero.

La lampada al neon è posizionata lateralmente per il mobile con una porta o in posizione centrale per il mobile con due porte. Per la sostituzione della lampada al neon si deve togliere la protezione di plastica trasparente, prendendo la lampada alle due estremità e ruo tarla di 90° finchè si sente u n leggero scatto, quindi estrarla facendo atte nzione a non urt arla, manovrarla con cura evitando di romperla e di tagliarsi. Montare la nuova lampada inserendola e ru otandola come sopra e ripos izionare la protezione trasparente.

Per la sostituzione della lampada a tartaruga, si deve togliere l’involucro esterno di protezione della stessa, sostituendo la lam- pada e fissando nuovamente l’involucro trasparente.

5_3 SOSTITUZIONE COMPRESSORE / Gas refrigerante

Nel caso d i da nneggiamento e/o sostituzio ne del com pressore, recup erare il gas refr igerante e l ’olio evitando di d isperderlo nell'ambiente.

5_4 PULIZIA CONDENSATORE DELL’UNITA REFRIGERANTE

Si rimanda al punto pulizia del condensatore.

5_5 MOBILE CON SBRINAMENTO ELETTRICO

Nei mobili dotati di sbrinamento elettrico attenzione a non scottarsi sulla resistenza elettrica che potrebbe risultare ancora calda. Aspettare quindi il suo raffreddamento e successivamente iniziare le operazioni di manutenzione.

5_6 SMALTIMENTO MATERIALI.

Lampade, v etro, plastic a e g uarnizioni, lam iera, comp onenti in po liuretano schi umato, c ontrollo e lettronico e materiale el ettrico in ge nerale devono esser e recuperati e/o smaltiti in discarica e/o c entro autorizzato rifiuti, attenzione a non disperdere nell’ambiente.

Recuperare il gas refrigerante e l’olio in appositi bidoni, non scaricarli nelle fognature e smaltirli seguendo le procedure relative al prodotto secondo le normative vigente di ogni paese.

Consultare gli indirizzi nella propria zona per lo smaltimento dei prodotti in discarica e/o centro autorizzato rifiuti.

USER AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL

INTRODUCTION

The appliances called “Refrigerated PIZZA COUNTER” and “Refrigerated VETRINA PIZZA” were manufactured in accordance with all EC regulations regarding free movement of industrial and commercial goods in EEC countries (see “Directive on Electromagnetic Compatibility” – DIREC- TIVE 2004/108/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council; see “Directive on Low Voltage” – DIRECTIVE 2006/95/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council). The appliances conform to directive EU2002/95/EC – RoHs.

Therefore, the units are supplied with all the documentation imposed by such standards.

The manufacturer has devised the appliance with th e intent of ensuring a safe use. Excluding any ele ctrical safety devices or disassembling the manufacturer’s protection devices will seriously compromise the aforesaid safety condi- tions. Furthermore, these conditions are subject to compliance of installation instructions and power supply require- ments for the unit, which must be strictly followed. The appliance must be used according to the specifications of this manual. It is therefo re hig hly advisable to carefully read a ll installation procedures, start-up procedures and/or re- moval procedures (when the appliance is moved and relocated to another position).

It is also advisable to pay particular attention to all t he instructions specified herein. USING MANUAL

The user and maintenance manual constitutes an integral part of the refrigerated table. It must be kept intact and in a safe place for th e entire life of the appliance, even if the appliance is t ransferred to another user or owner. The manual must be easily be located by operators and maintenance staff and must be placed nearby the unit.

The appliance includes all documentation required by regulat ions in force, whi ch are met during th e pla nning and manufacturing phase. All t he instructions prescribed on this manual must help the operator and the qualified techni- cian to conduct all installation procedures, connections, use and maintenance of the system, in a safely manner an d correctly. This user and maintenance manual contains all the information required for handling the unit with particular attention to safety.

MANUAL PRESERVATION

It is advisable to use the manual with care and in such a way as not to compromise its contents. Under no circumstances shall the user remove, pull out or rewrite any parts of the manual.

Keep the manual in a place protected against humidity and heat. The instruction manual shall be kept nearby the unit so that operators can easily consult the manual. The manual must also return to its location a fter each consultation. Furthermore, the manual must be kept for the entire life of the appliance and must be handed over to any successive user or owner.

The company will not be held liable for any breakage, accidents or faults due to non-compliance,

including non-compliance for not following the instructions of this manual. Moreover, the company will not be responsible if the user makes any modifications, variants or if non-authorised accessories are installed in the unit.

The external and internal structure made of stainless steel AISI Type 304, the bottom parties made by zinc-coated plate. The basin is insulated with expanded polyurethane resin with a density of 38-42Kg./ Mc. Power supplied with electric cable already provided by the manufacturer.

The basin has low environmental impact insulation, non-CFC insulation is used.

1 POSITIONING THE UNIT

Before unloading/loading and before positioning the unit inside the point of sale, please make sure to carefully read all the sections concerning loading/unloading procedures of the unit, including lengths, weights, condensed-water container drain- age, positioning adjustable feet and the unit’s electrical board described on this user and maintenance manual.

1_10 TRANSPORTATION

NO SI

Do not place the unit one above another (this can only be done if units are packed in a cage).

It is advisable to transport the refrigerated table solely in vertical position (see top-bottom markings on the box). In the event that the refrigerated table, fitted with a built-in condenser is tilted, make sure to wait at least eight hours before starting the unit. This time will allow the oil to flow into all the unit’s components, lubricating all the parts once again; the unit can be started once this process is com-

pleted.

1_15 UNLOADING THE UNIT / SIZES / WEIGHT

Depending on the type of the model, make sure to carefully consult the information on the table regarding lengths and weight before unloading, positioning or installing the refrigerated table inside the point of sale. Do not place the unit one above another (this can only be done if units are packed in a cage).

1_20 PACKAGING

Remove the outer box from the table unit, remove the locks that fix the unit into the pallet, position the unit and re- move the steel protection adhesive film.

WARNING:

Please handle the unit with care and proceed with the installation appropriately, as the package of the glass cabinet also contains a glass covering.

Collecting and recycling package materials such as plastic, iron, carton and wood will help save raw materials and cut- back on waste. Please contact the relevant authorised recycling and waste disposal centre available in your area.

1_25 CONDENSED-WATER DRAIN / DRAIN CONNECTION

The refrigerated tables are available in the following versions:

The refrigerated table includes automatic re-evaporation of condensed water.

1_30 FEET POSITIONING AND ADJUSTMENTS

Place the refrigerated table in a complete horizontal position, if necessary turn the adjustable screw feet on the legs of the unit to adjust to the desired level; use a spirit level to make sure is flat. The unit must be in a complete flat position in order to work properly and to allow proper drainage of condensed/defrosting water; the position will also help avoid noisy motor vibrations. Make sure the condensed water drainage container and its respective drain are positioned correctly .

1_35 INSTALLING THE UNIT INSIDE THE POINT OF SALE

It is advisable to install the refrigerated table inside an area with an air conditioning system. Please note that malfunctions may arise in areas that are not provided with air conditioning, e.g. condensation formation… etc.

Please pay special attention to the following guidelines for correct operation of the refrigerated table:

• Do not position the unit in an area directly exposed to sun light or to other heating sources, such as high intensity incandescent lighting systems, ovens or other radiant heating sources, e.g. heating radiators etc.

• Do not position the unit nearby door openings producing air currents, whether doors or windows or directly exposed to air from fans, vents or fan coil unit air conditioner.

• Do not block or obstruct the air inlets of the monoblock unit or condensing unit .

• Do not place any objects on the unit, including boxes or any other type of objects; leave the entire perimeter of the unit completely free so that air can circulate properly.

• Do not place the refrigerated table inside areas with high relative humidity levels (it may cause formation of conden- sation)

• Do not position the refrigerated table inside a closed niche, as there is not enough air circulation and may cause the refrigeration unit to not work proper

Make sure there is enough air circulation in the area, even during closing hours. This will allow the monoblock unit / condensing unit to work properly.

1_40 MINIMUM WALL DISTANCE

In order for the unit to work properly with adequate air circulation, when placing the table, make sure to comply with the MINIMUM wall distances, as indicated below:

• keep a MINIMUM distance of 60 cm from the front part of the motor grill of the unit

• keep a MINIMUM distance of 10 cm from the back of the unit to the wall; this will prevent formation of condensa- tion.

1_45 REFRIGERATED TABLE FITTED WITH BUILT-IN REFRIGERATION UNIT

If the air inlets of refrigerated tables fitted with built-in refrigeration units, which are located at the air intake grille of the refrigerated table shall never be blocked or obstructed; this will ensure proper air circulation. Therefore, avoid leaving products or other materials on the perimeter of the refrigerated table.

Please be advised that an increase in room temperature or inadequate quantity of air on the refrigeration unit’s con- denser, will reduce the performance of the unit, possibly causing deterioration of exposed products and greater en- ergy consumption. If the refrigerated table that is fitted with monoblock refrigeration unit or condensing unit is tilted, make sure to wait at least eight hours before starting the unit; this time will allow the oil to flow into all of the unit’s components, lubricating all parts once again; the unit can be started once this process is completed.

1_50 REFRIGERATED TABLE ADAPTING FOR REFRIGERATION UNIT (VERSION REMOTE UNIT)

Electrical connections must be carried out scrupulously in accordance with current electrical standards; please be advised that electrical and refrigerator installations must be carried out exclusively by qualified staff.

For all refrigerated tables without refrigeration units (under remote version) make sure that the unit is positioned in an area that is protected against atmospheric agents, avoiding using the area as storage for materials. Depending on the features of the condenser remote unit model, make sure to comply with the wall distances and distances to keep from other obstacles in order to provide adequate air circulation that can ensure the proper operation of the refrigerated table and making it easy for maintenance.

2 CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

2_1 CLEANING THE REFRIGERATED TABLE

The refrigerated table must be kept clean at all times. All cleaning operations must be carried out with the refrigerated table in stop position; the refrigerated table as well as the built-in refrigeration unit must be completely powered off.

Never use high-pressure water jet to wash internal parts of the refrigerated table as electrical parts could be damaged.

Do not use heavy metal devices to remove ice.

Only use warm water with non-aggressive detergents to clean the refrigerated table; make sure to dry all wet parts using a soft cloth.

Avoid using products that contain chlorine or its diluted substances, as well as sodium hydroxide, abrasive deter- gents, muriatic acid, vinegar, bleach or other products that may scratch or scrape the surface of the unit.

It is advisable to wash the bottom of the basin on a weekly basis, especially parts that are exposed to discharge of liquids or other food waste. The external parts of the refrigerated table that surround the display area must also be cleaned using clean- sing agents: this will help keep the table unit presentable free of encrustations.

Warning: it is advisable to use gloves when cleaning the refrigerated table. Warning: do not damage or bend the evaporator’s flaps or refrigerant fluid pipes.

In order to avoid bacteria formation, the loading zone of the refrigerated table used for preserving food products such are meat, salami or dairy products, must be cleaned at least once a week.

If the refrigerated table is used for preserving frozen foods, it is advisable to clean the internal parts at least once a month.

2_2 CLEANING THE CONDENSER UNIT

All cleaning procedures whether for the refrigerated table or built-in refrigeration unit, must be carried out with the unit in stop position and with the power switched off. It is recommended for cleaning operations to be carried out by specialised staff.

In order to ensure good operating performance, the condenser unit must be cleaned on a regular basis. Cleaning mainly depends on environmental conditions wherein the condenser unit is installed.

Moreover, it is advisable to blow air from inside to the outside of the condenser unit; if not possible, use a long bristle brush to clean the outer parts of the condenser. Be careful not to damage the refrigerant fluid circuit of the unit.

The built-in refrigeration unit is positioned inside the table unit on the rear right hand side (for table units ordered in standard versions).

WARNING: The use of protective gloves is recommended for these types of operations.

3 ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS AND GROUNDING CONNECTIONS

3_1 POWER SUPPLY

The installation and electric connections must be carried out in a proper and workmanlike man- ner in accordance with current electrical standards. These operations shall be conducted by specialised qualified staff according to current regulations. The company will not be held liable for the non-compliance of current electrical standards.

See the table unit’s wiring diagram.

Before powering the table unit, clean the refrigerated table thoroughly using warm water and non-aggressive neutral de- tergents, dry all wet parts using a soft cloth (warning: read the cleaning instructions of the table unit very carefully).

In order to connect the unit adequately proceed as follows:

• prearrange a differential thermo-magnetic switch and make sure the frequency/voltage line corresponds with the one indicated on the refrigerated table’s identification plate (see plate positioning)

• make sure the power voltage at the point of delivery is +-10% upon starting the compressor.

• it is advisable to mount a power supply bipolar main switch (or polar board) with opening contacts of at least 3 mm, upstream from the socket. This main switch is mandatory when load exceeds 1000 watts or when the refrigerated table is connected directly without using a plug. The thermo-magnetic switch must be positioned within immediate prox- imity to the table unit so that it can be clearly visible by technicians in case of maintenance.

The diameter of the power cable must be appropriate for the power consumed by the unit.

• The unit must have a grounding connection by law, therefore it must be connected to an efficient grounding system.

In order to prevent any risks, if the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by specialised qualified techni- cians. It is also recommended not to use electrical devices inside the table unit's compartments.

• In order to prevent any risks, if the compressor is damaged, it must be replaced exclusively by quali- fied technicians. It is advisable to use a highly sensible differential thermo-magnetic switch as disconnecting

switch to avoid disconnecting the entire system in the event of a fault.

3_2 STARTING THE REFRIGERATED TABLE

Make sure to check the following before starting the refrigerated table:

• the refrigerated table fitted with built-in condenser must be transported solely in vertical position, if it is tilted, make sure to wait at least 8 hours before starting the unit; this time will allow the oil on the compressor to flow into all of its components, lubricating all parts once again.

• In order to adjust operating parameters consult the information on the electrical control board section in the user instructions enclosed herein.

• for refrigerated tables with built-in units make sure that the disconnecting switch is open, in position 0, OFF or green, before connecting the plug into the power socket, then connect the plug and close the switch.

• Avoid setting temperatures lower than the table unit’s relative temperature.

• the first startup operation for refrigerated tables or for remote units must be performed by qualified staff.

Once the power line is connected to the refrigerated table (see previous paragraph), power the unit by closing the switch.

Warning: before loading goods on the table unit, make sure that the temperature reaches the desired temperature set on the control panel. Avoid setting temperatures lower than the table unit’s relative temperature; this could obstruct the evaporation process.

4 RECOMMENDATIONS AND WARNINGS

4.1 MAXIMUM SHELF LOAD.

Maximum load uniformly distributed for each grid shelf: 40 kg.

4.2 DEFROSTING

The units are fitted with an automatic defrost system, which is already set at factory and the number, duration and in- terval can be adjusted using the control panel; this operation shall be carried out by a qualified technician, in some cases manual defrosting may be required and the command located on the control panel can be used, or simply switch off the cooling system for the time required to melt the ice on the pipe coils (depends on room conditions and on the quantity of ice). For units intended for frozen or packaged food products it is recommended to perform a complete monthly cleaning, including a defrosting cycle. It is advisable to clean the external part of the table unit on a daily basis, as well as the internal part of the door nearby the gaskets.

4.3 STORING PRODUCTS AND PRESERVATION

The unit is designed to preserve frozen food products and when they are been stored, the products must have a temperature that is close to the temperature required for preserving food.

Do not place hot products in the unit; all products introduced into the unit must be already frozen. Be- fore loading goods in the refrigerated table, make sure that the temperature reaches the desired tem- perature set on the control panel.

In order for the unit to work properly, prod- ucts must be arranged in such a way as not to obstruct the circulation of refrigerated air inside the unit itself.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: AVOID OVERLOADING THE UNIT, ESPECIALLY ON THE UPPER PART OF THE EVAPORATOR

AIR FLOW (see fig. 2)

If frozen products remain in non-refrigerated areas for a period longer than two hours, they must be taken into the fridge cells to refrigerate them before storing them into back into the unit.

In order for the unit to work properly, be advised of the following:

• when the doors are opened, cold air is released and therefore, it is advisable to limit opening the doors and only do so for the time required to load products

• Storing non-frozen products will worsen the operating conditions of the unit, risking damaging products that are already stored inside the unit. Therefore, avoid placing products in non-refrigerated areas to prevent excessive loss of cold.

• make sure all of the ventilation inlets and outlets of the refrigerated table are free of obstacles.

Sliced meats and salami or mature cheese need to be placed on the grills rather than directly on the display top of the unit; it will allow proper air circulation and keep the products fresh. This will also prevent the formation of white and moist zones on the products. The drawers and the doors of the counter, as well as the cabinet doors and cells, must only be opened for the time required to load or unload products and it will keep the internal temperature of the unit from rising and therefore from consuming more energy, which would be required to bring the product back to its initial preservation temperature.

The units are designed for displaying refrigerated products that must reach warehouses at an ideal temperature for food preser- vation. Products that are dispatched from suppliers must be stored in the cabinets or in the fridge cells in order to avoid exces- sive loss of cold due to long periods of time without refrigeration. In order for the unit to work properly, products must be ar- ranged in such a way as not to block or obstruct the circulation of refrigerated air.

WARNING: Children must be monitored closely to make sure they do not play with the appliance.

5 MAINTENANCE

All maintenance operations and repairs must be carried out with the unit in stop position and with the power of the unit and of the condenser unit switched off. These maintenance operations must only be car- ried out by specialised qualified staff.

5_1 PERIODIC CHECKS

The unit must be checked at least once a year by qualified staff in order to verify the correct operation of the system; the follow- ing must be verified:

• the condensed water drainage system must work correctly

• check for gas refrigerant leaks and make sure the refrigeration unit works correctly

• make sure the condition of the electric system is completely safe

• check the door gaskets as well as the door itself and make sure it closes correctly

• clean the condenser of the refrigeration unit

5_2 LAMP REPLACEMENT

If the unit is fitted with lamps, they must be replaced with lamps of equal power. Check the information on the plate located on the side of the lamp. This information contains the power absorbed by the lamp.

It is advisable to always unplug the electrical cord or open the disconnecting switch above from the refrigerated table connection before replacing neon lamps or appliqué lamps.

The neon lamp is located on the side of units with one door or in central position for units with two doors.

To replace the neon lamp, remove the clear plastic protection, then remove the lamp from the two ends and rotate it 90° until it clicks, then remove it very carefully and handle it with care without breaking it and preventing cuts. Place the new lamp and rotate it as before until it clicks into place, then place the plastic protection.

To replace the appliqué lamp, remove the outer protection cover, replace the lamp and put back the clear cover.

5_3 REPLACING THE COMPRESSOR / REFRIGERANT GAS

If the compressor is damaged or if it needs replacement, retrieve the refrigerant gas and oil and prevent spreading into the envi- ronment.

5_4 CLEANING THE REFRIGERATION UNIT’S CONDENSER

Please referred back to the condenser cleaning section.

5_5 UNIT FITTED WITH ELECTRIC DEFROSTING

Avoid touching the heating element of units fitted with electric defrosting, as they may still be hot after defrosting cycle. Wait until it cools off, then proceed with maintenance and cleaning operations.

5_6 DISPOSAL OF MATERIALS

Materials such as lamps, glass, plastic and gaskets, plates, polyurethane foam, electric controls and electrical materials in general, all must be collected and/or disposed of in authorised dumping grounds and/or authorised waste disposal centres, avoid dispersing into the environment.

Make sure to collect refrigerant gas and oil and put them into special bins; do not dump them into the sewers, dispose of them following the relevant product instructions according to regulations in force of the relevant coun- try.

INSTALLATION

The instrument is designed for panel moun- ting. Make a hole of 29x71 mm, insert the instrument and fix it using the brackets provided. Do not mount the instrument in humid and/or dirty places; it is suitable for use in ordinary polluted places. Ventilate the place in proximity to the instrument colling slits.

ELECTRICAL WIRING

Attention! Never work on electrical connections when the machine is switched on. The instrument is equipped with screw terminal boards for connection of electrical cables with a diameter of 2.5 mm2 (one conductor only per terminal for power connections).For the capacity of the terminals, see the label on the instru- ment.The relay contacts are voltage free. Do not exceed the maximum current allo- wed; In case of higher loads, use an ap- propriate contactor. Make sure the power supplym voltage complies with the one required by the instrument. In 12V versions the power supply must be provi- ded by a security transformer with the protection of a delayed 250 mA fuse.

Probes have no connection polarity and can be extended using a regular bipolar cable (note that the extension of the probes affects the EMC electromagnetic compatibility of the instrument: pay extreme attention to wiring).
