BREAKDOWNS. In case of mechanical failure, not due to incompetence of the lessee, the same is authorized to enforce the repair at his own expense without the lessor's consent to the sum of €. 100,00 (for higher amounts the lessee must receive express authorization from the lessor). Within ten days from delivery of the vehicle, on production of an invoice issued by specialist workshop and headed to the lessor, these sums will be reimbursed to the lessee. If the breakdown does not allow the continuation of the trip, no refund will be recognized, but will be agreed on a new rental period. In case of accident the lessor is required to cover the expenses for the return of the vehicle at the headquarters of the lessor, or otherwise agreed to the chosen service center.
