Law SS 352-c) and the common law of the State of New York, Eliot Spitzer, Attorney General of the State of New York caused an investigation to be made of The St. Paul Travelers Companies, Inc. and its subsidiaries (St. Paul Travelers) relating to practices in the marketing, sale, renewal, placement or servicing of insurance and reinsurance and their accounting and public reporting practices, including those relating to nontraditional and finite reinsurance (the Investigation); and pursuant to Conn. Gen. Stat. SS 35-24 et seq. (the Connecticut Antitrust Act) and Conn. Gen. Stat. SS 42-110a et seq.
