EXHIBIT 10.84 EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT This agreement, dated as of February 24, 2005 is entered into between Nextel Partners Operating Corp., a Delaware corporation, Nextel Partners, Inc., a Delaware corporation (collectively the "Company"), and James Ryder, ("Executive"). WHEREAS, the Company desires to employ Executive and to enter into an agreement embodying the terms of such employment (the "Agreement"), and Executive desires to accept such employment and enter into this Agreement.
