Year of Continuous Service definition

Year of Continuous Service has the meaning specified in Section 7(d) of this Agreement.
Year of Continuous Service means a twelve-month period of continuous service by the Executive, beginning on the Executive’s initial date of employment with the Corporation (and each anniversary thereof), and ending on the day immediately preceding the anniversary of that date.
Year of Continuous Service means the number of days (as defined by the Company in written rules adopted by it from time to time) of Continuous Service, divided by 365. A Participant’s Severance Pay Benefit calculation shall include both full and any partial Years of Continuous Service.

Examples of Year of Continuous Service in a sentence

  • Plan Benefits are determined by multiplying Final Salary by the number of credits determined as the sum of the following: (1) one credit for each Year of Continuous Service; (2) one credit for each full $10,000 of Annual Pay; and (3) one credit for each full $10,000 of Annual Pay in excess of $40,000.

  • Each Employee at September 17, 1985, and each Employee hired thereafter, shall join the Retirement Plan on the January 1st coincident with or next following the completion of One Year of Continuous Service, provided he is then an active Employee or is on authorized leave for vacation, jury duty or bereavement and provided that they are not then sixty-five (65) years of age or over.

  • Subject to Section VI(b)(ii), the Benefit Plan Allowance payable to a Member shall be equal to one (1) week of such Member’s Enhanced Regular Earnings for each full Year of Continuous Service (prorated for completed calendar months); provided, however, that the minimum Benefits Plan Allowance shall be equal to four (4) weeks of the Member’s Enhanced Regular Earnings and the maximum Benefits Plan Allowance of any Member shall not exceed twenty-five (25) weeks of Enhanced Regular Earnings.

  • Employees with Less Than One Year of Continuous Service This clause does not apply to Employees with less than one year of continuous service.

  • If he did complete a Year of Continuous Service before he ceased to be an Employee, he will be an Eligible Participant immediately upon rehire.


More Definitions of Year of Continuous Service

Year of Continuous Service means a consecutive 12-month period, measured by your hire date (as determined by the Company) and the anniversaries of that date, during which you are employed by the Company or a Subsidiary (or an applicable predecessor of the Company) without interruption. If you were employed by a Subsidiary at the time of such Subsidiary’s acquisition by the Company, your employment with the Subsidiary prior to the acquisition date will be included in determining your Years of Continuous Service unless the Plan Administrator, in its sole discretion, determines that such prior employment will be excluded.
Year of Continuous Service means the number of full months (as defined by the Corporation in written rules adopted by it from time to time) of Continuous Service, divided by 12.
Year of Continuous Service means 12 Months of Continuous Service.
Year of Continuous Service means any work year during which an employee is actually at work for more than 50% of the contractual teacher work year. Continuity of service of years so credited shall not be deemed interrupted by a paid or unpaid leave which does not exceed 185 consecutive school days.
Year of Continuous Service means the number of full years (measured by twelve (12) consecutive calendar months) in which the Participant was most recently employed by an Employer on a full-time salaried basis and without a break in service. Notwithstanding any provision of the Plan to the contrary, Years of Continuous Service shall also include (1) periods of employment working at or providing services for the Mountain Pass Mine while the Mountain Pass Mine was owned by Unocal Corporation, Chevron Corporation or Chevron Mining, Inc., and (2) periods of employment with any entity that is acquired by the Company or a Subsidiary, if the acquisition document provides for service credit for purposes of calculating benefits hereunder.
Year of Continuous Service means the twelve (12) consecutive month period commencing on a Participant’s most recent date of hire by an Employer and each twelve (12) consecutive month period thereafter during which a Participant is employed by an Employer. Credit for partial years of service shall be granted and prorated for the number of days the Participant is employed by an Employer during such year. An Eligible Employee’s direct transfer of employment from one Employer to another Employer shall not be a break in employment for the purposes of calculating Years of Continuous Service.
Year of Continuous Service means a consecutive 12-month period of employment with Key. If you leave Key before you are vested, you automatically forfeit any matching contributions and profit sharing contributions with all earnings thereon that have been credited to your account up through your termination date.
