Yardman/Cleaner/Greaser/Refueller definition

Yardman/Cleaner/Greaser/Refueller means an employee employed in a bus depot whose duties may include general yard and vehicle cleaning, greasing, refuelling, parking vehicles and performing other duties incidental and associated with such work.
Yardman/Cleaner/Greaser/Refueller means an employee whose duties may include general yard and vehicle cleaning, greasing, refuelling, parking vehicles, changing tyres, assisting in tyre repairs, oiling, washing, polishing, and issuing fuel or oil and performing other duties incidental and associated with such work.Traffic Officer GRADE 1An employee at this Grade is required to receive and process customer bookings; to dispatch taxis either by telephone or by computerised dispatch system, and to respond to basic enquiries within area of responsibility.Work is performed within established guidelines and procedures.An employee at this Grade works under the general supervision of a higher classified employee and will not be required to work alone.Traffic Officer Grade 2An employee at this Grade is responsible for the efficient operation of the dispatch system and is required to respond to complaints and to deal with customer and driver problems, in addition to the duties of a Traffic Officer Grade 1. An employee at this Grade exercises initiative and discretion in the performance of duties within established procedures and policies. An employee at this Grade may be required to assist, guide and or train other Traffic Officers.An employee working unsupervised shall be paid as a Traffic Officer Grade 2.Traffic Officer Grade 3An employee at this Grade is responsible for the overall operation of a taxi dispatch system and will normally be responsible for the supervision and guidance of lower classified traffic officers. In addition to general dispatch duties the employee will be responsible for efficient service to customers and drivers, including the handling and resolution of non-routine complaints and queries.An employee who is responsible for the supervision of other Traffic Officers shall be paid at a Grade higher than the highest level of the employees who are under supervision.   • Drywell means an unlined or partially lined underground pit (regardless of geometry) into which drainage from roofs, basement floors, water softeners or other non-wastewater sources is discharged and from which the liquid seeps into the surrounding soil.

  • Dry cleaning fluid means any non-aqueous liquid product designed and labeled exclusively for use on: fabrics which are labeled "for dry clean only", such as clothing or drapery; or S-coded fabrics. Dry cleaning fluid includes, but is not limited to, those products used by commercial dry cleaners and commercial businesses that clean fabrics such as draperies at the customer's residence or work place. Dry cleaning fluid does not include spot remover or carpet and upholstery cleaner. For the purposes of this definition, S-coded fabric means an upholstery fabric designed to be cleaned only with water-free spot cleaning products as specified by the Joint Industry Fabric Standards Committee.

  • Cleaner means an employee engaged in cutting or trimming off loose ends of cotton or cloth left on garments or parts of garments by previous operators;

  • Sailboat means the same as that term is defined in Section 73-18-2.

  • Glass cleaner means a cleaning product designed primarily for cleaning surfaces made of glass. Glass cleaner does not include products designed solely for the purpose of cleaning optical materials used in eyeglasses, photographic equipment, scientific equipment and photocopying machines.

  • Hood means a respiratory inlet covering that completely covers the head and neck and may also cover portions of the shoulders and torso.

  • Firefighter means any regular, paid or volunteer, member of a lawfully constituted fire department of a municipal corporation, township, fire district, or village.

  • Freeboard means a factor of safety usually expressed in feet above a flood level for purposes of floodplain management. "Freeboard" tends to compensate for the many unknown factors that could contribute to flood heights greater than the height calculated for a selected size flood and floodway conditions, such as wave action, blockage of bridge or culvert openings, and the hydrological effect of urbanization of the watershed.

  • Electrical cleaner means a product labeled to remove heavy soils such as grease, grime, or oil from electrical equipment, including, but not limited to, electric motors, armatures, relays, electric panels, or generators. Electrical Cleaner does not include “General Purpose Cleaner,” “General Purpose Degreaser,” “Dusting Aid,” “Electronic Cleaner,” “Energized Electrical Cleaner,” “Pressurized Gas Duster,” “Engine Degreaser,” “Anti-Static Product,” or products designed to clean the casings or housings of electrical equipment.

  • Grease means an organic substance recoverable by procedures set forth in "Standard Methods" and includes but is not limited to hydrocarbons, esters, fats, oils, waxes and high molecular carboxylic acids;

  • Carpet and upholstery cleaner means a cleaning product designed for the purpose of eliminating dirt and stains on rugs, carpeting, and the interior of motor vehicles and/or on household furniture or objects upholstered or covered with fabrics such as wool, cotton, nylon or other synthetic fabrics. “Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner” includes, but is not limited to, products that make fabric protectant claims. “Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner” does not include “General Purpose Cleaners”, “Spot Removers”, vinyl or leather cleaners, dry cleaning fluids, or products designed exclusively for use at industrial facilities engaged in furniture or carpet manufacturing.

  • Ash means all species of the genus Fraxinus.

  • Dry cleaning means the process of cleaning articles using perchloroethylene.

  • Crane means any self-propelled vehicle to which has been permanently mounted or attached any crane, whether or not such vehicle was originally a truck, tractor, or other type of motor vehicle or was designed and built as a complete crane unit. However, the word "crane," as herein defined, shall not be construed to mean any truck or other vehicle equipped with or to which has been affixed any device used for the purpose of providing a means for towing other vehicles.

  • borehole means a hole sunk into the earth for the purpose of locating, abstracting or using subterranean water and includes a spring;
