A delegation or assignment under subsection (1)- shall not divest the Director-General of the power delegated or duty assigned, and he or she may at any time amend or set aside any decision made thereunder; and shall not prevent the exercise of the power or the performance of the duty concerned by the Director-General himself or herself.   • 414(s) Compensation means any definition of compensation that satisfies the nondiscrimination requirements of Code Section 414(s) and the Regulations thereunder.   • HITECH Act means the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act, TitleXIII, Subtitle D, Part 1 & 2 of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

  • Family and Medical Leave means a leave of absence for the birth, adoption or foster care of a child, or for the care of your child, spouse or parent or for your own serious health condition as those terms are defined by the Federal Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (FMLA) and any amendments, or by applicable state law.

  • the Contributions and Benefits Act means the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992;

  • Pension Act means the Pension Protection Act of 2006.

  • Data Protection Laws means EU Data Protection Laws and, to the extent applicable, the data protection or privacy laws of any other country;

  • Occupational Safety and Health Law means any Legal Requirement designed to provide safe and healthful working conditions and to reduce occupational safety and health hazards, and any program, whether governmental or private (including those promulgated or sponsored by industry associations and insurance companies), designed to provide safe and healthful working conditions.

  • Air Act, as used in this clause, means the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7401 et seq.).

  • EU Data Protection Law means (i) prior to 25 May 2018, Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of Personal Data and on the free movement of such data ("Directive") and on and after 25 May 2018, Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of Personal Data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation) ("GDPR"); and (ii) Directive 2002/58/EC concerning the processing of Personal Data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector and applicable national implementations of it (as may be amended, superseded or replaced).

  • Annual leave and Clause 6.3 “Personal (Sick) Leave” of this Agreement.

  • Applicable Data Protection Law means, as applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679) (as may be amended, superseded or replaced) ("GDPR") and all other supplemental or implementing laws relating to data privacy in the relevant European Union member state, including where applicable the guidance and codes of practice issued by the relevant supervisory authority, and/or all applicable analogous privacy laws of other countries;

  • Appropriation Act means an Act of Parliament or of a county assembly that provides for the provision of money to pay for the supply of services;

  • EU Data Protection Laws means EU Directive 95/46/EC, as transposed into domestic legislation of each Member State and as amended, replaced or superseded from time to time, including by the GDPR and laws implementing or supplementing the GDPR;

  • Compensation and Benefit Plans has the meaning set forth in Section 5.03(m)(i).

  • Consumer Protection Act means the Consumer Protection Act, No 68 of 2008;

  • PBR Act means the Plant Breeder’s Rights Xxx 0000 (Cth) as amended from time to time.
