Work Method Statements or “WMS” means written management plans for critical and complex activities, processes or plans where the absence of written instructions could have a negative impact on worker safety, quality, consistency, cost or schedule, which constitute commitments of the Primary Contractor and describe how work shall be performed, inspected or tested and shall include a checklist to confirm that work is being conducted in accordance with the appropriate standard, code, specification or plan in accordance with this Agreement.

• The Provider strives to meet its Workplace Health and Safety obligations, and has issued its technicians with Work Method Statements for high risk activities.

• These will include details on: ● The interfaces involved and their scope of works ● Drawings identifying interfaces and the work site ● Agreement on the regularity of drawing updates ● The method of the works to be performed ● Safety risks identified by a risk assessment, proposed safety measures and responsibilities in relation to those safety measures to ensure compliance with all Safe Work Method Statements (SWMSs) ● SWMSs specific to the interface works.
