Windows Client Operating Systems definition

Windows Client Operating Systems means the software marketed, distributed and licensed by Microsoft as Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows NT Workstation 4.0, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP Professional, Windows XP Home, or Windows Vista, including updates (which include, without limitation, security patches) and upgrades (both described in Section 3.2(a)) thereto, or their successors (including updates and upgrades thereto) for use on personal computers. “Windows Client Operating Systems” do not include Windows XP Embedded or its successors, Windows CE or its successors, or any other operating system designed for use with non- PC devices such as gaming consoles, television set-top boxes, mobile telephones and personal digital assistants.
