WHS Law definition

WHS Law means all applicable Laws relating to work health and safety, including the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth), the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011 (Cth) and any applicable Corresponding WHS Law. WHS Notifiable Incident means any notifiable incidents under WHS Law, accidents, injuries, or damage to property of a serious nature that occurs in connection with the Project. and Work Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme means the Work Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme referred to in section 43 of the Building and Construction Industry (Improving Productivity) Act 2016 (Cth).
WHS Law means the WHS Act and any "corresponding work health and safety law" as defined in section 4 of the WHS Act.
WHS Law means any statute, rule, regulation, ordinance, by-law, code of practice, guideline or Standard, present or future, that relates to WHS in the place where the Contractor is to provide the Supply.

Examples of WHS Law in a sentence

  • Compliance with this Law, or with any requirement imposed under this Law, is not, in itself, evidence that a person has complied with the primary WHS Law or any regulations made under that Law or with a common law duty of care.

  • WHS Law means the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) and any legislative instruments executed under that Act.

  • The Customer acknowledges that Chubb has not been engaged as the principal contractor for the purposes of WHS Law in carrying out the Works.

  • Compliance with laws and policies The Recipient must in carrying out its obligations under this Agreement, comply, and use reasonable endeavours to ensure that its subcontractors comply, with the provisions of all relevant statutes, regulations, by-laws and requirements of any Commonwealth, State, Territory or local authority including those arising under a WHS Law in respect of occupational health and safety.

WHS Law means the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (NSW), the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld), the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (Vic) and any other comparable legislation in other states or territories where the goods are provided (including the model work health and safety laws). “working day” means a day (other than Saturday or Sunday) on which registered banks are open for business in both Banyo, QLD and the state or territory in which the Purchase Order was issued, but excludes any day in the period from 24 December in any year to 5 January (both inclusive) in the following year.
WHS Law means where the Supply occurs in:
WHS Law means the WHS Act and any "corresponding WHS law" as defined in section 4 of the WHS Act.

WHS Law means the Work Health and Safety Act 2012 (SA) and the WHS Regulations; “WHS Regulations” means the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2012;
WHS Law means any legislative requirement, principles of law or equity established by decisions of Australian Courts or requirements of persons acting in the exercise of statutory powers relating to health and safety, including the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld) and the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011 (Qld); Works means the physical works to be carried out by You under this Agreement, and includes the supply of equipment (if required under this Agreement), but does not include the Services or the supply of Goods;
