ADULT ABUSE REPORTING REQUIREMENT: CONTRACTOR shall ensure that all known or suspected instances of elder abuse as defined in Welfare and Institutions Code 15610 are reported to Adult Protective Services.

All information and records obtained in the course of providing services under this Agreement shall be confidential pursuant to Section 5328 of the Welfare and Institutions Code in accordance with applicable State and Federal law.
Pursuant to Section 14705 (c) of the California Welfare and Institutions Code, COUNTY must provide cost reporting to the State in relation to this contract.
If services pursuant to this Contract will be provided to children and/or elder adults, Contractor represents that Contractor is knowledgeable of the Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act (Penal Code section 11164 et seq.) and the Elder Abuse and Dependent Adult Civil Protection Act (Welfare and Institutions Code section 15600 et seq.) requiring reporting of suspected abuse.
