VDT definition

VDT. (Vehicle trips per day) means trips per day made by one vehicle, in one direction.
VDT means a visual display terminal;
VDT shall have the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 2.4.1 (Prorations).

  • Issues concerning the use of video display terminals and rest breaks for VDT operators may also be subjects for Labor-Management Committee consideration.

  • Pregnant employees who work on VDT systems may request temporary reassignment within their job description or a comparable position, and be reassigned within two (2) weeks of notification, for the duration of the pregnancy.

  • When the operator is seated at a VDT, the workstation design should satisfy certain physical dimensions.

  • All represented employees, who are health service system members, shall be eligible for one (1) annual VDT examination and prescribed eyewear.

  • Any employee who is newly assigned to a position, which by actual work consists of at least eighty percent (80%) VDT operation, including alternate work time under paragraph 1 of this Article, shall be entitled to be examined by an eye doctor within sixty (60) days of the employee's assignment to the position.

  • If it is not able to do so, then any Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, upon identification and submission of a VDT safety practice problem, may request and shall be scheduled to meet with the appropriate management representative to review the specific safety concerns.
