Variation Order Proposal definition

Variation Order Proposal means the document issued in the form set out in Appendix 17 in accordance with Article 14 (Variations); 15 "Variation Request" shall have the meaning given to it in Article 14.1 (Variation Request); "Vessel" shall have the meaning given to it in the Recitals to this Agreement; "Vessel Leaving The Yard" shall have the meaning given to it in Article 21.1 (Vessel Leaving the Yard); "Warranty Period" shall have the meaning given to it in Article 36.1 (Warranty); "Works" means works to be carried out by the Contractor pursuant to this Agreement; and "Yard" means any of the shipyards occupied or operated by the Contractor or the Contractor's Affiliates in Singapore.

Examples of Variation Order Proposal in a sentence

  • Unless the Contractor and the Owner otherwise agree, the costs of implementing any Variation Order Proposal (the "Variation Cost") shall be proposed by the Contractor in accordance with the principles set out in Appendix 17 (Variation Order Proposal) and Articles 14.25 to 14.28 (Variation Cost).
