Utilities Surcharge definition

Utilities Surcharge means the sum charged by Us as a specified sum to cover the cost of providing utilities such as the heating ofthe house, the swimming pool heating and any AGA or other range cooker fuel costs, as well as the provision of electricity, hot andcold water, and drainage and sewerage of the same as well as VAT (if applicable) at the prevailing rate. The Utilities Surcharge isincluded in the Rental Rate, but is subject to possible increases inline with the RPI rate of inflation, should RPI increase by more than 3% per annum during the time between the date the Booking iscontracted and the Check-in Date. Any surcharge payable underthis term will be communicated to the Lead Client at least 14 days prior to the Check-In Date and will become payable at the sametime as the Security Deposit. We may, at Our sole discretion, waive the Utilities Surcharge. This surcharge is necessary to accommodate the fact that the rates for utilities/heating costs are liable to change significantly over time and at short notice to reflect changes in the underlying costs charged by suppliers;

Examples of Utilities Surcharge in a sentence

  • In the event of Our cancelling the Booking, if we are unable or unwilling to provide alternative Accommodation, We will refund to the Lead Client all monies paid to Us for the Rental Rate, the Utilities Surcharge, any Extras and the Security Deposit.

Related to Utilities Surcharge

  • Utility Charges means water, sewer, electricity, gas and other utility charges, if any, applicable to the Real Property or the Leased Real Property;

  • Utilities means water, sewer, gas, electric, telecom, cable, and like services.

  • Bond Service Charges means, for any period or payable at any time, the principal of, premium, if any, and interest on the Bonds for that period or payable at that time whether due at maturity or upon redemption, Mandatory Tender or acceleration.

  • Installation Charges means those Charges set out in the Order in relation to installation of the Service and/or any Purchased Equipment, Customer Equipment and/or BT Equipment as applicable.

  • Sanitary sewer authority means the department, agency, or public entity with responsibility to review and approve the feasibility of sanitary sewer services or onsite wastewater systems.

  • Water Service Connection (lateral) shall mean the pipes and fixtures used for the purpose of supplying any premises in the Municipality with water from the Corporation’s water distribution system that is located between the Corporation’s water main in the street and the street property line abutting the premises so supplied.

  • Energy Charge means a charge for each kilowatt-hour (kWh) of electrical energy;

  • Rechargeable Electrical Energy Storage System (REESS) means the rechargeable energy storage system that provides electric energy for electrical propulsion.

  • Delivery charges means charges by the seller for preparation and delivery to a location designated by the purchaser of tangible personal property or services. Delivery charges include, but are not limited to, transportation, shipping, postage, handling, crating, and packing. Beginning September 1, 2004, delivery charges do not include the charges for delivery of direct mail if the charges are separately stated on an invoice or similar billing document given to the purchaser. If a shipment includes both exempt property and taxable property, the seller shall allocate the delivery charge using 1 of the following methods:

  • SLDC Charges means the charges levied by the SLDC of the state wherein the Solar Power Project is located;

  • Connection Charge is the sum payable by the Communications Provider in accordance with the Openreach Price List for provisioning of the Service;

  • Governmental Charges has the meaning set forth in Section 9.2.

  • Transportation Costs means a component of the Charges, comprising those charges payable to the TNO and/or DNO for the use of their networks as applicable from time to time under the Industry Agreements including those charges more specifically referred to as “DUoS” and “TNUoS” and specified as “Included in the Unit Rate”, “Fixed” or “Pass-Through” in the Quotation Document or as otherwise notified to you as payable during the Supply Contract from time to time;

  • Utility Costs means utility and home energy costs related to the occupancy of rental property (e.g. electricity, gas, water and sewer, trash removal, and energy costs (such as fuel oil)) that are separately-stated charges. Utility Costs do not include telecommunication services (e.g. telephone, cable, and internet services).

  • Water Charges means service charges in respect of the provision of water.

  • Service Costs has the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 3.01.

  • CCAA Charges means the Administration Charge and the Directors’ Charge;

  • Sewer means a pipe or conduit for carrying sewage.

  • Access Charges means the sum payable under the Access Agreement and/or this RAO agreed by the Operators to be paid by the Access Seeker to the Access Provider for providing the Access Service, the indicative Access Charges are as per Appendix C hereof which rate is exclusive of GST which shall be payable also by the Access Seeker.

  • Maintenance Costs means parts and materials, sublet and labour costs of a qualified licensed mechanic for the maintenance of the Revenue Service Vehicles, but shall not include costs associated with interior and exterior transit advertising signs and non-mechanical servicing of Revenue Service Vehicles such as fuelling, clearing fareboxes, cleaning and painting wheel rims, vehicle washing and other work performed by a serviceman; and,

  • Sanitary sewerage means a system of public sewers for carrying off waste water and refuse, but excluding sewage treatment facilities, septic tanks, and leach fields owned or operated by the licensee or registrant.

  • Track Charges means the charges payable by or on behalf of the Train Operator to Network Rail, as set out in paragraph 1 of Part 2 of Schedule 7 or under the Traction Electricity Rules;

  • Miscellaneous Charges mean charges that apply for miscellaneous services provided at CLEC's request or based on CLEC's actions that result in miscellaneous services being provided by CenturyLink, as described in this Agreement.
