Useable floor area definition
Useable floor area means the area included within he surrounding insulated exterior walls of a structure, exclusive of attached garages, carports, decks, stairs, porch covers, or similar appurtenances.
Useable floor area means that part of the floor area within a unit of dwelling space that can be consid- ered useable for general living purposes, excluding areas devoted to built-in equipment, such as, wardrobes, cabinets, closets, kitchen units, and equipment or fixtures which are not readily available for use as floor ar- ea.
