UPS Retirement Contribution definition

UPS Retirement Contribution means the nonelective Employer contribution to eligible Participants, as described in Section 4.2.

  • Each Employer Company will make a nonelective cash contribution, referred to herein as the “UPS Retirement Contribution,” to the UPS Retirement Contribution Account of each Participant who meets the eligibility requirements of Section 4.2(c).

  • Individual retirement account means a trust, custodial arrangement, or annuity under Section 408(a) or (b), Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (26 U.S.C. Section 408 (1986)).

  • Catch-Up Contribution means an Elective Deferral made to the Plan by a Catch-Up Eligible Participant that, during any taxable year of such Participant, exceeds one of the following:

  • Employer Contribution means the amount paid by an employer, as determined by the employer rate, including the normal and deficiency rates, contributions, and funds wherever used in this chapter.

  • Profit Sharing Account means any one of the accounts so designated and provided for in Section 6.01.

  • Retirement Account means any retirement or pension fund or account, listed in Iowa Code section 627.6(8)“f” as exempt from execution, regardless of the amount of contribution, the interest generated, or the total amount in the fund or account.

  • Company Contribution means that portion of the main extension costs which the Company will fund based upon the following formula:

  • Matching Contribution means an Employer contribution made to this or any other Defined Contribution Plan on behalf of a Participant on account of an Employee Contribution made by such Participant, or on account of a Participant's Employee Elective Deferral, under a plan maintained by the Employer.

Any such contributions deemed to be Elective Contributions shall be subject to the requirements of Sections 4.2(b) and 4.2(c) and shall further be required to satisfy the discrimination requirements of Regulation 1.401(k)-1(b)(5), the provisions of which are specifically incorporated herein by reference.

  • Deferred Retirement Date means, in the case of any Participant who continues in employment after his Normal Retirement Date, the first day of any month following his actual retirement.

  • Designated Retirement Account means any retirement plan or account described or qualified under the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, or a subaccount thereof.

  • Contribution Account means an account, or accounts, into which the Accountholder and employer contributions are deposited by the TPA, and from which HSA dollars are swept into the Cash Account.

  • Matching Contributions means contributions made by the Employer on account of an "eligible Participant's" Elective Deferrals.

  • Normal Retirement Date means the later of the Normal Retirement Age or Termination of Employment.

  • Employer Contribution Account means, for any Participant, the account established by the Administrator or Trustee to which Employer Contributions made under Section 3.5 for the Participant's benefit are credited.

  • Qualified Retirement means the Participant’s voluntary termination of Service after reaching age 65 and completing 10 years of service with the Company, its Subsidiaries or predecessors.

  • Qualified Matching Contribution means any employer contribution allocated to an Eligible Employee's account under any plan of an Employer or a Related Company solely on account of "elective contributions" made on his behalf or "employee contributions" made by him that is a qualified matching contribution as defined in regulations issued under Code Section 401(k), is nonforfeitable when made, and is distributable only as permitted in regulations issued under Code Section 401(k).

  • Rollover Contribution means any rollover contribution to the Plan made by a Participant as may be permitted under Article V.

  • Pre-Retirement Survivor Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 6.

  • Contribution Date has the meaning set forth in Section 4.3 hereof.

  • Company Contribution Account means (i) the sum of the Participant’s Company Contribution Amounts, plus (ii) amounts credited or debited to the Participant’s Company Contribution Account in accordance with this Plan, less (iii) all distributions made to the Participant or his or her Beneficiary pursuant to this Plan that relate to the Participant’s Company Contribution Account.

  • Employer Matching Contributions means the Employer matching contributions made to the Trust Fund pursuant to Article V (Employer Matching Contributions).

  • Catch-Up Contributions means Salary Reduction Contributions made to the Plan that are in excess of an otherwise applicable Plan limit and that are made by Participants who are Age 50 or over by the end of their taxable years. An “otherwise applicable Plan limit” is a limit in the Plan that applies to Salary Reduction Contributions without regard to Catch-up Contributions, such as the limits on Annual Additions, the dollar limitation on Salary Reduction Contributions under Code Section 402(g) (not counting Catch-up Contributions) and the limit imposed by the Actual Deferral Percentage (ADP) test under Code Section 401(k)(3). Catch-up Contributions for a Participant for a taxable year may not exceed the dollar limit on Catch-up Contributions under Code Section 414(v)(2)(B)(i) for the taxable year. The dollar limit on Catch-up Contributions under Code Section 414(v)(2)(B)(i) is $1,000 for taxable years beginning in 2002, increasing by $1,000 for each year thereafter up to $5,000 for taxable years beginning in 2006 and later years. After 2006, the $5,000 limit will be adjusted by the Secretary of the Treasury for cost-of-living increases under Code Section 414(v)(2)(C). Any such adjustments will be in multiples of $500.

  • Retirement Plans means the retirement income, supplemental executive retirement, excess benefits and retiree medical, life and similar benefit plans providing retirement perquisites, benefits and service credit for benefits at least as great in value in the aggregate as are payable thereunder prior to a Change in Control.
