Unsubsidised Self-Employment definition

Unsubsidised Self-Employment means self-employment as specified in any Guidelines.

Examples of Unsubsidised Self-Employment in a sentence

  • A Participant in Unsubsidised Self-Employment may be in receipt of some Centrelink Income Support during an outcome period, and still meet the requirements of an Outcome Fee based on self-employment, provided that all other requirements for the Fee have been met (for example, that the self-employment is not subsidised, and that the wage the Participant is entitled to has been achieved).

  • Claiming an Outcome based on Unsubsidised Self-Employment Unsubsidised Self-Employment means self-employment where a Participant does not receive a personal income subsidy of any kind.

  • Supported employment means the ongoing supports to participants who, because of their disabilities, need intensive ongoing support to obtain and maintain an individual job in competitive or customized employment, or self-employment, in an integrated work setting in the general workforce at or above the state’s minimum wage or at or above the customary wage and level of benefits paid by the employer for the same or similar work performed by individuals without disabilities. The outcome of this service is sustained paid employment at or above the minimum wage in an integrated setting in the general workforce in a job that meets personal and career goals. Supported employment services can be provided through many different service models.

  • Tipped employee means any employee engaged in an occupation in which s/he customarily and regularly receives more than $30 per month in tips. Tips include amounts designated as a tip by credit card customers on their charge slips. Nothing in this rule prevents an employer from requiring employees to share or allocate such tips or gratuities on a pre-established basis among other employees who customarily and regularly receive tips. Employer-required sharing of tips with employees who do not customarily and regularly receive tips, such as management or food preparers, or deduction of credit card processing fees from tipped employees, shall nullify allowable tip credits towards the minimum wage.

  • Self-employed INDIVIDUAL An individual who has Earned Income for the taxable year from the trade or business for which the Plan is established including an individual who would have had Earned Income but for the fact that the trade or business had no Net Profit for the taxable year.
