Uniform Building Code (UBC) definition

Uniform Building Code (UBC) means the most recent version of the Uniform Building Code adopted by the city.
Uniform Building Code (UBC) means the building code as copyrighted by the International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO) and includes the Uniform Building Code Standards.

  • Effective July 11, 2004, the City converted from the Uniform Building Code (UBC) certification program to the International Code Council (ICC) program.

  • Contractor shall perform all work in strict accordance with the Jurisdiction Having Authority, Uniform Building Code (UBC), all local codes and/or ordinances and with all CAL-OSHA laws and regulations.

  • The seismic safety standards applicable to this Contract are contained in Section 2312 ICBO Uniform Building Code (UBC), as modified by the Appendix to Title 27, Chapter 1 (Volume 7), of the Administrative Code and Charter of the City of New York at RS 9-6 Earthquake Loads.

Related to Uniform Building Code (UBC)

  • Building Code means the regulations made under Section 34 of the Act.

  • Building Code Act means the Building Code Act, 1992, S.O. 1992, c.23, as amended;

  • State building code means the combined specialty codes.
