Underserved Children definition

Underserved Children means children who have no access to, or are not qualified to attend, other early [learning] childhood education programs and whose family income is no more than [three] two hundred fifty per cent of the federal poverty level."
Underserved Children means children from marginalized communities and populations aged 0 to 5 years old who exceed the number of enrollment slots designated for their age groups at early childhood centersEarly Childhood Centers in the area served by those centers.
