Underpayment definition

Underpayment means any payment or portion of a payment not made to a provider for services delivered to eligible members according to the laws and rules applicable to the Medicaid program and to which the provider is entitled.
Underpayment means any cash or leave (balance, usage or accruals) that has been underpaid or undercredited to an employee regardless of the reason, including but not limited to, administrative, clerical or system errors.
Underpayment shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5(b).

  • If the aggregate Actual Monthly Reimbursements payable as calculated by the Advisor for the fiscal quarter just ended exceeds the aggregate budgeted monthly reimbursements paid by the Company for the fiscal quarter (the difference being referred to as a “Reimbursement Underpayment”), then the Company shall pay the Advisor the full amount of the Reimbursement Underpayment no later than fifty-five (55) days following the end of the applicable fiscal quarter.
