Unbroken as used herein means continuous service bridged by leave of absence and not broken by termination. The bank may not be replenished more than twice in any one (1) School Year. In order to implement this section, bargaining unit members employed prior to June 30, 2009, who have not previously joined the sick leave bank, shall be assessed two (2) sick leave days. Bargaining unit members who commence employment subsequent to July 1, 2009, upon commencement of employment, shall be assessed two (2) sick leave days. The policy of the Sick Leave Bank and awarding of days from the Sick Leave Bank will be governed by a four (4) member board, hereinafter call the SICK BANK COMMITTEE consisting of the Association President and Vice President, the Chairperson of the School Committee, and the Superintendent.
