Unauthorized Transactions definition

Unauthorized Transactions means any unauthorized, altered, counterfeit, or to other fraudulent transactions or other transaction not originated, initiated or signed (if necessary) by Customer or an Authorized Person.
Unauthorized Transactions means any deposits, withdrawals, or other activity on your Account(s) which you or an authorized user of your account did not transact.
Unauthorized Transactions has the meaning given in Part B, Section 21(b) of this Agreement;

More Definitions of Unauthorized Transactions

Unauthorized Transactions has the meaning given to it in Section 21; and “US” means United States of America.
Unauthorized Transactions. You agree to cooperate fully with the investigation of any unauthorized transaction regarding your Account, to file complete and truthful reports with criminal law enforcement agencies, and to give complete and truthful testimony. At our request, you agree that (a) we will be subrogated to, and you shall assign to us, all rights that you have against any unauthorized user, (b) you will do whatever is necessary to enable us to exercise our rights and will cooperate with us, and (c) you will not prejudice our rights. You further agree that we have the right to reverse any credits that we apply, and that you will indemnify and hold us harmless with respect to any dispute, to the full extent permitted by law. 26. NONTRANSFERABILITY: You may not transfer or assign your Account, Card or Access Device without prior written consent, which we may withhold in our sole discretion. 27.
Unauthorized Transactions. A transaction is an unauthorized transaction when it’s: • Missing a required signature or other evidence showing you have authorized it, or • Altered (for example, the amount of a check or the payee’s name is changed). If there are any unauthorized transactions on your account (such as missing, stolen, or unauthorized checks), we may require you to close your current account and open a new one. If you do not do so, we are not liable to you for subsequent losses or damages on the account due to forgery, fraud, or other unauthorized use. When you open a new account, you are responsible for notifying any third parties that need to know your new account number. You can notify us of errors on your account statements by promptly calling the telephone number on your account statement or submitting a written report (if instructed by us) as soon as possible, but in any event within the specified time frames. Actions We Take When You Report an Unauthorized Transaction: We investigate any reports of unauthorized activity on your account. After you submit a claim, you agree to: • Complete and return an affidavit and any other documents we require containing information concerning the transaction, • Notify law enforcement, • Cooperate fully with us in our investigation and any attempt to recover funds, and • Assist us in identifying and prosecuting the suspected wrongdoer(s). You agree that we have a reasonable period of time to investigate the facts and circumstances surrounding any claimed loss and that we have no obligation to provisionally credit your account, unless otherwise required by law. We can reverse any credit made to your account resulting from a claim of unauthorized transaction or error if you don’t cooperate fully with us in our investigation or recovery efforts, or we determine the transaction was authorized. Our maximum liability is the lesser of your actual damages proved or the amount of the missing deposit or the forgery, alteration, or other unauthorized withdrawal, reduced in all cases by the amount of the loss that could have been avoided by your use of ordinary care. We are not liable to you for special or consequential losses or damages of any kind, including loss of profits and/or opportunity or for attorneys’ fees you incur. Consumer accounts only: Electronic funds transfers are subject to different time periods for notification of errors, as described in the Electronic Funds Transfer Services section of this Agreement.
Unauthorized Transactions has the meaning given in Part B, Section 21(b) of this Agreement; "Username" means for Online Banking, either your client card number or a combination of numbers and/or letters that we may allow you to select. You must provide your Username with your Password to access Online Banking;

  • Unauthorized Third Party means any person or entity that, at the time of the Computer Fraud, is not an Authorized User.

  • Unauthorized disclosure or "unauthorized release" means any disclosure or release not permitted by federal or state statute or regulation, any lawful contract or written agreement, or that does not respond to a lawful order of a court or tribunal or other lawful order.

  • Contactless Transaction means a Transaction that is authorised by you touching or holding your Card or linked device against or near a POS Terminal without the need to insert your Card.

  • Suspicious transaction means a “transaction” as defined below, including an attempted transaction, whether or not made in cash, which, to a person acting in good faith:

  • Authorized Transferee means a Qualified Trust of Xxxxx X. Xxxxxx or of any member of a Family Group that (a) would be a Permitted Transferee of the Partner engaging in a Transfer of Partnership Interests under the Certificate of Incorporation of each Company in which the Partnership owns Class B Shares, if such Partner were Transferring Class B Shares instead of Partnership Interests; (b) is eligible to be a Partner of the Partnership without causing any Class B Shares then held by the Partnership to be converted into Class A Shares pursuant to the applicable Certificate of Incorporation; and (c) is a Participating Stockholder of each Company whose Class B Shares are owned by the Partnership, but only if such Qualified Trust (i) is a Partner immediately prior to the Transfer of Partnership Interests to such Qualified Trust or (ii) prior to or simultaneously with such Transfer, executes and delivers to the Partnership a counterpart of this Agreement, executed by the trustee of such Qualified Trust, agreeing to be subject to the restrictions and obligations of a Partner hereunder and to hold all Partnership Interests then owned or later acquired by such Qualified Trust in accordance with the terms of this Agreement, such counterpart to be substantially in the form of Exhibit 1 hereto. In particular, a Qualified Trust may not necessarily qualify under clauses (a) and (b) above. Therefore, care must be given to ensure that, for purposes of determining whether a Qualified Trust is an Authorized Transferee, such Qualified Trust qualifies under clauses (a) and (b) above. In addition, an “Authorized Transferee” of a General Partnership Interest also includes a “Qualified Entity” (defined in Section 1.18 below).

  • Malicious Software means any software program or code intended to destroy, interfere with, corrupt, or cause undesired effects on program files, data or other information, executable code or application software macros, whether or not its operation is immediate or delayed, and whether the malicious software is introduced wilfully, negligently or without knowledge of its existence.

  • Card Transactions means any payment made for goods or services, cash withdrawals from a bank or financial institution (including ATM withdrawals) or transfer of funds made through the use of the Card or the Card number.

  • Publicity Material means the promotional gifts, catalogues, pamphlets and all and any advertising and publicity material whatsoever which an Exhibitor wishes to display, distribute or use at the Exhibition.

  • Permitted Transaction means any transaction involving (i) a Swap that is not a Required Transaction or (ii) a Required Transaction that is a component of a Covered Package Transaction.
